There is too much Scene in the Sky discussion. I'm going to have to beat OoT before coming back here, else I will be spoiled. Sorry folks, but not like it mattered anyway.

I just wish I will get better soon from my sickness... so that I can play OoT.

By the way. Can anyone explain why people have been supporting Link x Dark Link? I mean, it's pretty much his shadow. Or in the case of the content of this thread, he would be masturbating to his own shadow.....

IMO this is all LinkxDark Link is. Link touching himself is a weird ship to support if you ask me. And sorry about spoiling the scene in the sky for you again. I'll try to keep a lid on it until you beat OOT from here on out. All I can say is the Scene in the Sky from the manga and the game are two totally different things IMO.

Oh, so there isn't a Scene in the Sky in the games? Well, don't tell me. I have the manga but I still have yet to read it.

No...to put it bluntly, the differences are without ruining everything for you is

Manga = Link as a normally mature teenager.

Game = Link as a innocent forest child in a man/teen body.

At least IMO.

Who supports weird pairings? Seriously, we need more laughs here.

How about LinkxEpona?? At least OOT/MM Link seems to express more romantic affection for Epona than he does for Zelda and Malon combined. If you don't believe me just stand still with Link mounted on Epona and it will eventually show him lovingly petting her. If I was a fangirl it would make me want to go OOOHHH Link is so sweet.

That's worse than Ditto x Bubble Gum that I see in some Pokemon fansites. Except we use a term called 'shipping' there, and give pairings shipping names. Like Link x Midna is supposedly ShadowShipping....

My weird pairing, I guess, would be Ganondorf x Oracle Din. I once considered Link x Darunia though......

That one's a bad example - Zelda was wrong to think it was a good idea to gather the Spiritual Stones, and she admits as much in the Scene In The Sky. Hyrule was destroyed BECAUSE Link gathered and used them, and the Ocarina of Time - even if the Deku Tree, Darunia and Ruto had all handed the stones, and Zelda the Ocarina & Song of Time, over to Ganondorf... he would have been ultimately snookered by the Master Sword.

I know that it ultimately led to Hyrules destruction, but from Link's point of view at that time it was the other way around - from his point of view, there was no reason to question Zelda's plan (the plan itself wasn't all that bad - they just got outsmarted by Ganondorf). Link didn't know how horribly wrong the plan would go.

Its just the in game OOT Link as a child in a mans body never gave me that impression that he was that mature. He seemed to retain the heart & mind of a forest child throughout the entire quest, only he had an adult body that allowed him to do great things to save Hyrule.

But since Link did go back in time it's kind of irrelevant. He didn't have the chance to establish a romantic relationship with anyone, since he was busy saving Hyrule. After going back and maturing normally that problem wouldn't exist anyway - and kids his age do have a certain understanding of romance. Sure, it's not mature, but I've seen many people that were around his age have crushes on someone and even having their first relationship.
And Mido shows that romantic relationships aren't that of a foreign concept in the Kokiri Forest, so he should at least know a little bit about it.

One of the reasons is what Ganonslayer2000 said, another is that fangirls like Link and Dark Link. And since both of them are "Ohmigawd so sexy!!!!!!111111oneeleven!111!" they'll get paired up. It's one of those pairings that doesn't need any other justification than having two hot guys together.
And then there's the variation of purple Link of FSA with shadow Link which stems from the Manga.

That was a joke, wasn't it? Petting your pet doesn't mean you have romantic affections for it.

Yeah..I was just kidding with Epona. And if the in game OOT Link did have a love for Zelda it was more like emotional attachment than manly Casanova/Romeo love IMO. I agree that Link would know that romance exists like a normal 10 year old boy but there is nothing from the games that made me believe he could actually grasp or understand it as a normal male teenager would. OOT/MM Link simply exuded purity & innocence from every pore of his being and didn't seem to have the personality of a normal teenager as TP Link did. But he had enough maturity to complete the quest by following orders like a good little boy. (Ducks from Yayu)

He's too young for that sort of thing. Yes, he did know about it, and that's mainly what I wanted to say, but he couldn't grasp it in the same way as TP Link could, since he was still too young to have mature romantic feelings. He would have been able to have a crush on someone, I think, but not more. But that doesn't mean that crush couldn't develop into something more later on...

TP Link was a few years older, so of course OoT Link was more "innocent". But after having the chance to mature normally he probably would be more of a normal teenager - at least as normal as someone with his experiences can become.

I just randomly thought of it. It's not my fault my creativity runs free. This is the only way I can think of ideas, letting my mind run free.

But despite that, I think LinkxZelda is the best choice. She is almost in every game, a lot of romance Zelda fanfics are Zelink ones, and she kissed him in Oracle of Ages/Seasons. I think they make a cute couple too.

Don't talk to me about the Ganondorf thing... it's just plain creepy. I am really scared now...

Which one do you think is more creepier, OOT LinkxGanon, WW LinkxGanon, or TP LinkxGanon??
