Illia seemed disturbingly obsessed with Epona IMO. LinkxShad and LinkxFado are definite romantic possibilities for TP Link thats for sure. Hetero wise LinkxHena is the best bet so far.

Yet it seems obvious to me that the developers had intended Link and Illia to really like each other, judging by that scene where Illia regains her memory. Realistically, I think Link would marry her.

Well I would say that Link would lover her as a close sister, but not as in he wants her badly. Ilia on the other hand though, there was some sort of feelings there for him. We see how distraught she was when Link left Ordon during the credits.

And for the time being, with Link leaving for good at the end of the game, they might actually not marry.

It wasn't stated if he did left Ordon for good. I personally think he just left Ordon to find other ways of accessing the Twilght Realm. Afterwards, he can always return.

Also, Fado x Link is a serious no. I do not have homophobia, but I cannot picture Link being with.... a slightly overweight rancher. As for Hena, I pretty much completely ignored her during my first playthrough, so I don't know what to say. But it could be a mere one-sider on Hena's side, like Thelma.

I agree. I think he went to try to find Midna when he left. What else would he be doing?

Hmm...I guess Hena and Link would make sort of a cute couple. I like it better than a lot of the other non-Midna ships floating around in TP. But yeah, it's probably one-sided. Somehow I can't imagine Link randomly falling in love with a girl who just helped him fish a few times....

I think there is a chance that Link MIGHT return to Illia one day, but I agree with Eternal Legend that he left Illia at the end to pursue the life of a Hero. Or to maybe find a way to be reunited with Midna by serving within the Hyrule Court in hopes that Zelda can help him make it possible. IMO the homosexual pairings for TP Link are not to be taken seriously. More or less its a jab at Link's affeminately gentle personality.

Just to throw something out there, I think perhaps Link might have left Hyrule to mend his broken heartache.

Of course, that could mean he returned to Ordon, since it is technically a province outside of Hyrule, I believe. I see what you are saying, though, that he went into seclusion in his depression of losing someone he cared about.

I wonder what happened to Gliderpilot. I miss arguing with her about these things now.

As far as I know Link was LEAVING Ordon in the ending credits. But that doesn't mean he will never go back despite my personal annoyance with Illia. Its just IMO at that moment Link chose to live the life of a Hero instead of continuing to be a rancher/goat herder.

As for the ever beloved Gilderpilot, she is probably waiting for me to drop dead first. But I still like her even though she hates me.

I have my favored pairings, but i could never pick, im indecisive so here's my list, greatest to least

OOT: Malon, Saria, Zelda, Navi, Ruto
TWW: Tetra, Medli
TP: Midna, Zelda, Ilia

The fishing hole along the Zora river that branches out into two directions. She doesn't say much except slightly flirt with Link at times. I only liked going there to fish and to piss off Purdy.

Way back then I said Malon but that was before I played twilight princess. Ilia is the perfect girl for link. They grew up together and obviously already care for each other.

She should not really be in this poll in a sence. In twilight princess it was just her and zelda as the only real competition. Minda as well, even though she goes away.

Actually, people moving away from their comfort life to confront the emotional pain they lost is quite common.

I believe that Link had the willpower to move on from what he loves in life, in order to pursue meanings in friendship, love and such.

He could have moved in within Princess Zelda's castle to serve as a knight after the recent battle with Ganondorf or he may have left the borders of Hyrule forever.

The mind of a hero's is an enigma.

Well only in TP I could sense some homosexual vibes from some of the characters (But then again I see what I want to see.) but otherwise my theory stands on the "He actually saved the world even though all the women in the game where throwing themselves at him."-line
