I think Link would go with Malon because first of all he couldnt go with Saria because shes a Kokiri and u know what happens with kokiris..They never grow up! so Link marrying a 10 year old kid when hes like 18..no, Ruto is a fish so thats a no,Midna is from the Twilight so it would be impossible for them to be together,llia well its kinda of a tie between her and Malon,Zelda damn Link has saved he like 20 times and she still doesnt like Link so a no for Zelda. So I think its a tie between llia and Malon.

i think link is better with zelda becouse he allways saves her and stuff so thats all dont forget to vist me on gamespot

princess zelda would be a good match and imagine how meny rupees you would have then you could have lots of litle links and zeldas that thi time do not have kids. and the mini links have mini master swords

Here's a question: Why do people think Zelda doesn't like Link back? I've always felt her desire for him comes through loud and clear, but she's conflicted because of duty. She's got an awful lot on her plate, being the future ruler of the kingdom and such. The younger Zelda's seem to like Link more openly ( MC, OoT/MM, FSA ) when compared up against the more mature, responsibility laden ones ( OoT, WW/PH ) but that's because the older ones are now leaders, and thinking more about others and the kingdom, not themselves.
That's not to say they can't be personal with Link: OoT Zelda seemed very upset about sending Link back, Tetra/Zelda was very personal with him at the end of WW when not with her crew, and TP Zelda just avoided it all by keeping Link at arm's length, unlike the other two.

Dealing with the competition, girls like Ilia and Malon don't have anything like Zelda's fate to burden them, to hinder them from doing what they desire. In that, they have nothing in common with Zelda, nor Link for that matter.
He's a hero, and also carrying alot on his shoulders, I don't think he'd begrudge Zelda the same. In fact, I think he'd find her a kindred spirit, and feel attracted. OoT seemed to indicate that, and so did WW.

I also think that Zelda has always liked Link in all the games she shows up in, except TP, where she doesn't get enough exposure with Link until the end. The Link and Zelda in tMC are childhood friends, so they have the greatest chance. Tetra/Zelda in tWW hints that she likes Link when she winks at him in the final battle. In OoT, she talks about love a lot when she is Sheik, and she looks morseful when she sends Link back to the past. There is evidence that Link from aLttP becomes the king in LoZ, which means he would have to marry Zelda.

There's also evidence for LoZ/AoL... the manual remarks that the scrolls handed to Link were saved "for a time when a great King will come" and apparently an interview with Miyamoto claims Link would actually marry her and they would rule Hyrule together. I'd like to think the same happened to OoT Link when he grew up again...though it's more vague. The hints and clues are not as obvious as the previous games, or WW/PH for that matter.

I think Link ends up marrying Telma. she was all over him the entire TP game, and he eventually gave in.

Agreed. And Telma was just a flirt in personality, I doubt she seriously wanted Link anyways. I'd add her to the list that includes Nabooru and Cremia...amusing for some, but nothing will ever come of it.

Yah....that flirting was just, wierd. Especially since her shirt or whatever it is was kind of low at the top, if you know what I mean

Anyway, for me, it depends on what game we're talking about here, but I voted Zelda. I say Zelda for the following games: OoT/MM, TWW/PH, TMC, OoS/OoA, and LoZ/AoL. I say Malon for FS/FSA and of course Marin for ALttP/LA since I heard she had some kind of relationship with Link in LA. I say LinkxAshei for TP. I have my reasons.

Zelda should be the one for Link in the games I mentioned because various hints are given in them that directly point to a very possible romance between the two in those games. Such hints include the sky scene at the end of OoT, their facial expressions towards each other at the end of TWW when Zelda gives the Master Sword back to Link, the fact that they were childhood friends in TMC, the kiss on Link's cheek from Zelda at the end of the Oracle series (or so I heard about it), and the apparent kiss at the end of AoL, which I actually saw a screenshot of. There's also more hints in OoT pointing to a romance between Link and Zelda there, but I will move on instead.

I say Malon for only FS/FSA, because if TMC Link and Zelda get together, then that leaves Malon as FSA/FS Link's only choice because he's most likely descended from TMC Link. Malon is a much better character there than in OoT anyway. She's not so annoying. >.>

I say LinkxAshei for TP because, well the two have a lot in common. They both have been trained to use a sword and both seem to have the same seriousness in their head when it comes to certain situations. They'd go perfectly together.

I never liked Ashei. She's too much of a tomboy for me

lol that's exactly why I liked her.

Its possible. But I think Ilia is more probable

I don't. Link doesn't seem to like her anymore when she yells at him for letting Epona get hurt. Ilia seems too young for him anyway. She looks about 14 or 13. I simply don't think they're a a good match...

Really? I always thought they looked about the same age. Well, at least the same height

But considering how concerned Link was while she lost her memory, I just assumed he liked her, at least a little

^ I totally agree with the rest of your stuff, GoT, but LinkxAshei? Link obviously likes Ilia, and she obviously likes him back. And, she is the same age as Link, according to the Prima Guide. There is one point in the game where they almost kiss, but of course, Nintendo would never put such grownup content in a game, so they didn't. LinkxIlia all the way!! <3

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Ilia isn't the same age as Link unless Nintendo says she is. Prima is not Nintendo. I think she looks more like a 14 year old and Link more like a 17 year old, but oh well, looks can be decieving, I'll admit.

Besides, even if they are the same age, I don't like them as a couple. Now Link and Ashei are perfect. Seeing as both of them wield swords, both of them are capable of being together all the time, unlike him and Ilia. Link and Ashei could fight side by side even! In fact, I think I'll do that in my idea for a TP sequel. LinkxAshei = win.

Like Yamari I like LinkXAshei as well cause tough but still feminine warrior chicks just do it for me. Don't ask me why. Also like NabooruXLink (the adult one). But traditionally I like Zelda and Malon as well. I know Link with Nabooru or Ashi is weird but I think SariaXLink is just plain creepy and I'm still disturbed that people have actually voted for her.
