And by these "Maidens", do you imply the ones from FSA?

I agree with all except for Ruto. I think Ruto is 24.

I don't really believe one year is actually very remarkable in age.

Ithink they're different in different games. which particular one do you mean?

I disagree with the part on Saria. Remember, Kokiri are ageless and she could be as old as Twinrova for all we know.

Ruto should be around the same age as Link.

I honestly don't see why it matters in the long run...

Saria is impossible to tell, as the Kokiri are ageless.
Ruto, as stated above, should be about 17-20.

And the Gorons? For all we know, they could be 100s of years old

This really isn't a valid course of thought, except as an exercise in pure speculation...there's no true evidence in the games to indicate a proper age for Saria, Rauru, Darunia, Ruto, or any others, relative to Link or anyone else.

We don't really know how long the Kokiri lifespan is, nor that of the Zoras, or the Gorons, for that matter. The only true piece of hard data given to us is that Link (and his descendants in all of the later games) have lifespans approximately close to humans, and that the age of the Ocarina of Time Link is precisely established in the dialogue.

Other than that, the games are vague to the point of nonexistence on the hypothetical age-ranges of the other races of Hyrule, with the exception of some information concerning the Zora royal family in Twilight Princess, and the possible length of a Zora "generation" over the course of a century.
