Your least favorite zelda?
The title pretty much says the purpose of this thread. You just have to tell us what your least favorite Zelda game is and why. I'll start.
The Zelda games I've played and finished are AoL, OoT, MM, OoS, OoA, WW, TMC and TP. Among all of those games, my least favorite has to be MM. Now, I know that MM's always adored by many fans, but I'm personally not such a huge fan of it. This is because I see many flaws in MM. In my opinion, The biggest flaw is how it focuses more on sidequests and NPC interaction rather than dungeons. When I first played through the game I was extremely dissapointed by the fact that it only has four dungeons. And besides, the dungeons aren't so special compared to the dungeons of other Zelda games. That excludes Snowhead, of course, which is in my opinion one of the greatest dungeons in Zelda history. The first and last dungeons of MM were just okay, while the third dungeon really dissappointed me. In short, I just think this game would've been better if it focused more on dungeons rather than focusing more on sidequests(Just like in TP). Then there's the fact that it doesn't really feel much like Zelda. It drifts away from the classic Zelda storyline(with the godesses, the triforce, Hyrule, etc.) and instead puts you into a completely new place which barely has any connection to Hyrule except for the reused polygons here and there. The game didn't feel like a true Zelda game, since it lacked some of the plot elements that made Zelda truly Zelda. It felt like an entirely different game, which I didn't like. It should've been like TP which felt very nostalgic and had alot of the Zelda feeling in it. Another major flaw is that there are some things in this game that make you feel like you've done a tedious task for absolutely no reward. There are some times when you progress far in a dungeon, only to find out that you don't have enough time to complete it before the moon falls on Termina. And while I do know that there's an inverted song of time to slow down the time limit, there are still some occasions when this happens. Another thing is when you're doing the Kafei and Anju quest. If you stop Sakon from stealing the bombs, you won't be able to complete the Anju-Kafei sidequest. There are many other cases wherein you feel like you've done so much work for nothing. To summarize it all, MM just didn't have what I always liked about the Zelda series. It seemed to focus more on what I didn't care about in the Zelda series, which dissappointed me. I do have to compliment MM, though, for having a very dark atmosphere. Now THAT is something I like. And by now it's probably obvious that TP is my all time favorite Zelda game. This is because it did the complete oppossite of what MM did. It offered a large quantity of clever and fun dungeons, a constant feeling of nostalgia, quests that always feel very rewarding, a dark and mature atmosphere and a great musical score. I don't really care about its lack of sidequests and NPC interaction, so I wouldn't count that as a flaw in my opinion. EDIT: Oh, and please, don't waste time by mentioning the CD-I games. We're talking about mainstream Zelda games only.

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
Where's FSA? I definately have to vote for that one.
I was not a fan of the linear style of play, with actual levels and no connecting overworld. The story felt like a knockoff of both Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past..moreso than usual. The puzzles were cool, but I didn't think they fit with the level system.

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
Sorry, but only a maximum of ten options are allowed. So I decided not to include the Four Swords games and to make OoA/OoS one choice.

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
As of yet, I don't dislike any Zelda games, so I'm note voting. Sorry

WTF is up with the percentages? how can 4 games each have 25% and others have 8 and 12 %? that's like saying "i'm half irish, half italian, half german, and a third polish" ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
I'd have to say Four Swords Adventures for the same reasons that have already been stated. Wait, no...Four Swords...Mandatory Multiplayer?!
But of that list? OoT. I don't know why, I just don't like it compared to others. (I admittedly haven't played them all, though.) It's not a bad game, it just doesn't feel write to me. DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! On the other side, my fave's a tie between MM, TWW and TP

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
Probably because it's a poll where each person can choose more than one option.

Re: Your least favorite zelda?
To tell you all the truth out of all of the Zelda games I have played, Ocarina of Time is my least favorite. Yes the big bad OOT it is the stereo typical Zelda. I could tell that when I was 7. Thus I loved all of the Zelda games that were different. Like MM WW and TP. I still like OOT but it isn't as good to me as the ones I mentioned above. BTW, I only play major release zelda on the N64 or later
