I want a Black Link

Seriously, I do. For the past like, 15 games Link has been a white boy and for the past 10 games he's been a little Neo-Nazi (blonde and Blue eyes? Sieg Heil!). Now, to be more specific, i don't exactly want a Black Link, but at the very least change some of his colors. Maybe Hazel eyes? Black Hair? Spiked up and stuff. Just keep the tunic green (or other types of clothes) and it's all good.

Link looks like that, blond hair, brown eyes, done. He had brown hair for a while, but it turned to brown. I think it looks fine. That's his character, I see no logic behind changing it.

And spiky black hair? Go home kid.

He had pink hair in aLttP, and his hair was a dirty blonde sort of colour in TP (if you look real closely XD). What more do you want? I mean, that's enough for me. I guess you could call it tradition to keep the blonde hair and blue eyes thing. I think that's a good combination, don't you agree?

I always assumed Gorons were the equivalent to Negroids.

ACH! Nein, He definately needs the same look as he's always had, get over it, if you want a black link then make one in your own game.

This thread is just asking for racism.

I don't think it matters, but if they did decide to make multi-racial Link's, it should be a choice the player makes at the start of his/her game. Maybe a customizable Link from the start?

Sounds like an RPG. I wouldn't mind though. It'd be a nice, fresh change to the Zelda series (the RPG part). Customization is optional.

Link, and Hylians in general, are based off the elven race. Elves typically have light skin. I don't think we'll see a dark skinned Link, but his hair has definitely gone through color and style changes. His tunic as well, though the green color has stayed true.

I'm not sure about his eyes.

I don't really believe the concept of creating a black Link would be that fantastic as it sounds, actually. It would be rather creepy.

As far as I'm aware, no-one has majorly complained about Link's appearance being racist, so it's not a big problem. Plus, the fact remains that it isn't racist. It's a character design, it would be odd if things changed. It'd be like having a ginger Harry Potter. (Not that I have anything against gingers.)

I remember seeing a certain Dark Link. For me, the problem is solved.

LoZ is based on medieval Europe. There were not any blacks living in Europe in the Middle Ages, they were all in Africa. A black Link would be very out-of-place. He did have brown hair in the NES games, but that was just because of technical limitations, I beleive.

Link is just perfect the way he is! Nothing, and I mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G must chance!!

I can imagine a Link with maybe black hair and brown eyes, ut still he shouldn't change. If so they'd have to create pthers like that so he wouldn'd be the only person like that.
