There is a new Zelda movie that is being worked on. It looks mucho better than the first one.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume II

As to prosthetics. If they were to do Live action.
I was imaging the zoras to be something like this

Thats Abe sapien from the 2004 film hellboy.
As to link talking. one word terminator. Arnold has about less then 100 words in that film, did you notice it..not really. But I can see that if the film will focous on his troubles and galloping around the land you would need him to talk.
As for dungeons, there a massive part of the legend of zelda series. But you would watch a film where they would go to dungeon slay a few things get item travel to get next item repeat 3 or 4 times. I wouldn't. It would need to be so much more then just a transition from game to film. It would need to feel like a journey. Like your taking part in that journey.
Also to the people saying leave OOT not make it a film, a lot of people choose this film because, well im not a time line expert but its the first in the series?, so alot of people use it because it introduces every thing. Well theres my views..

There needs to be dungeons. It is an essential part of the story. If you need to justify the dungeons look for the symbolism. Dungeons are lonely, scary places that you have to go, in order to face your fears: Indiana Jones hates snakes for instance: Ron Weasley hates spiders. Link, He doesn't really fear anything but then the movie needs to show that by making the first dungeon really scary and him not afraid. I think a lot of the story should be Link in a dungeons, Very different dungeons some are beautiful and enchanting with a subplot on the surface: With Zelda and the Knights or Sages or what ever.

Like I said. I agree that dungeons should have there place but how many dungeons per game are there about 7 or more. How would they put all of them in and make it interesting? Remembering you need to travel across the land and most part you are traveling back over places you have already gone there isnt a linear path.

Think about sports movies. They always have to beat five or more teams to make it to the play-offs or what ever. They show you them playing each team in a series of 2 to 3 second shots. it will show you one team then go to the next and the next and then back to the second team and then to the forth always ending the hardest the team.
Follow this. Link enters a dungeon he crosses a bridge over a bottomless cavern, *switch to a dungeon*, Link is creeping along the wall. He is attacked by Keese *switch dungeons* he kills keese. He is faced by a skalfos, an epic fight like in Jason and the Argonauts. *Different dungeon* he finds the bow *switch* bombs, *switch* boomerang.
More Skalfos, pan down to bomb at feet. Link covers himself with shield as bones dance off of his shield. Turns and throws boomerang and kills keese. Fires bow at eye switch. Get the picture.
Another way of looking at it is that any plot development in any movie is sort of like going through a Zelda dungeon. one finds objects, items, and information that helps one through out the development of plot. one finds there way through one situation only to be confronted by a new one with different problems. in the end the culmination of all of the characters tools and skills developed help defeat the antagonist.

You can't make Orlanda Bloom play Link!!! Imagine what would happen when the fans make a stupid connection with Legolas + Link... *shivers*

EDITED:

I don't want to continue the hated debate of Live Action or CGI but I'd prefer CGi. Mainly because Live Action would almost FORCE Link to talk. But live action would be better to draw attention away from the videogames itself.

Re: Zelda Movie: Volume II

I think it would be CGI if it was made. With TP style graphics, but way better, ya know?
