Why did you play zelda?

My love of the Zelda games started when I was somewhere between the ages of 5 or 6 to 8 my grandfather had the first and second Zelda games for the original NES, while he was alive, he would play alot (zelda and other games), my brother and my cusin played too, ever since then I've loved Zelda and I still do now. I've played almost every Zelda game except for a few that either at the time I didn't have a particular consol or any of the cd-i games.

As a side thought, I think it's really cool that the Zelda series is as old as I am, still not sure whether Zelda first came out in 86' or 87'.

My mom bought a used copy of ALttP for SNES back in 2000 so that she could play it again, and I thought that it looked cool so I tryed it out and fell in love with the series ever since.

I was given the wind waker for Christmas one year and the incredibly immersive gameplay drew me in I felt such an overwhelming feeling and I had to have more, I believe another key role was the worlds and charcters they really reached out to me.

One of the first video games I played was Links Awakening, which is ironicaly the only non-spinoff Zelda game that I dont have, I bought Oracle of Seasons, got more handheld Zeldas, got Windwaker, got Collectors disc from Nintendo Power, Got FSA, lost Seasons, Got Seasons and Ages, so on and so forth. So basicaly they were fun, so I got more and it is and has been my favorite videogame series.
