Has anyone here ever.....

Has any one hear ever, played or used the program ZC(zelda classic) and or zq(zquest)< zq is a zelda game maker! Its really fun making a good zelda game it was originally designed to make classic styled zelda games but as the years have gone by you game make the any were from classic up to snes styled graphics! So is any one here part of this fad or a member at one of these two main sites, if so I am sure you would know me, so I was just wondering, I would say the name of these site but I think that would be advertising and I am not sure if thats allowed!

its pretty ease, there is no need for scripting allthough you can as long as you know how!

I suggest using the DoR tile set its the best IMO

yeah this programs is the best for 2d fan based zelda games, at pure you can even download other peoples quest they made and play them!

looks really cool, would be fun to try out other peoples quests they have made..

Zelda Classic and Zelda Quest are both on my computer. I sorta figured out how to place the various tiles and things, but I couldn't figure out how to change the graphics. Maybe I'm just incompetent, but... =P

Those look pretty cool, I'll have to try it out. I've never heard of these programs before (don't know how, either, because I'm always on the look-out for game creation applicatoins)

Did you download A tileset? If you go to purezc.com and scroll down on the left you will see tilesets click on all then browse for the tileset you wanna use, download it and put it an the same folder as your other zc stuff then open zquest then go file > open then open the tile set, I personally like the DoR set best(dance of remembrance) which I put a link to in my last post! if you really need help with this program going purezc forums and there is a zquest editor help section, there are many people willing to help!

I do have ZC on this computer and have also seen that map creator, but it was way to complicated for me so I said what the hell

The Boys and Girls Club I used to go to had that program, if not both. But I dont think I ever made a very good thing on there.....whaaaa
