Action Replay

How do you guys feel about useing Action Replay in Zelda?
I personaly use it just to have fun after i beat the game normally.

I like floating through Adult dungeons in oot as young link and beating them with him. I also use action replay to shut up Navi and give my self a kick ass black tunic!

yeah i used an action replay in ww after i beat it, that was pretty fun, but not as fun as using my gs with oot and turning on the "press L to haul ass" code, that was very very fun, i had action replay for gamecube, and a gameshark for n64, but theyre pretty much the same, all i really use them for is floating around and getting to places im not supposed to be, and hauling ass, never for cheating, i hate cheating

I'm not even sure what action replay means? :-/

action replay is messing around with the game with codes like floating buildings for example...
Anybody have one to make the deku tree a playable character?

Action reply is a cheat disk. You can buy it from here (or somewhere like Amazon). It'll come with a load of cheats for pretty much all games out on the Gamecube right now, plus you can always go to the Codejunkies site to get new codes to manually enter.
You can also use action replay to play imported games on your 'cube (and, it seems, the Wii)

Anyway, I only use Action replay for messing about with a game after I've completed it. It extends a game's play time quite considerably.

Right, thanks for the link. So has anyone done anything in particular with TP yet? Can you play other characters and go to places you normally can't?

ya you can get the master sword at the begining of your game and you can just have so much fun, go to youtube and search action replay twilight princess and you'll be amazed lol

Well first off there are people called code hackers who find out every hexidecimal code of the game. A hexidecimal code or hex code is a code put into the game to make it run properly. Once they obtain the hex code they put it into special programs to make it into Action Replay codes. Then you can use the codes on the games. If you want even more detail head over to ARCentral. Here is where all the great hackers of new codes are.

By the way, I use AR codes all the time to have fun after I beat the game. There is so much the creators left that you can find. How do you think people found the forest in TP that was seen in the preview? Or new enemies? There is so much to do with AR. For anyone who doesn't have it, get it.

I don't personally own AR, but I have seen it. I am highly against using it until you've completed a game. After that, I'm fine with it.

Action Replays are an awesome thing to extend the lifespan on games, I hav'nt had one since my N64, but reading this has just reminded me how fun they are, so I'm going to have to get one for my cube. There was loads you could get out of OoT using it, I just found it fun to do everything it senseless order, all dungeons backwards etc, great stuff!

i find it pretty annoying typing in all the codes for the newer titles

I havent ever used one but would like too. My question is though, do they screw up your game? I'm a bit niave when it comes to the Action Replay you see. Do you need it to perform the early master sword glitch TP btw?
