'The Legend of Zelda' - movie.

From what I have said basically, yes, but from what I haven't told you..

p.s. I don't like to say my story has war, but I can see where your coming from.

Raian already touched on how the characters themselves can change the story, but also remember that movie plots can change quite a bit before production. Especially where super-fergus won't be attempting this for several years now.

Why don't you just keep a blog/journal if you're going to be trying this for oh...fifteen years. Maybe starting up your own website?

You have some great ideas Fergus, What are your plans with the character Ganondorf? If a movie is made I want to see more of the human side of him like at the climax of WW. Something where the audience can understand his pain, but I am not saying make him a wuss. Ganondorf has his reasons but he'll crack anyone's skull to acomplish his goals.

Make it more of a movie than a game movie...
Good CGI...
Have Zelda, MS, and Link, but the rest new characters. Maybe Ganondorf...
Make everything look different.
Make it dark and mature.
Make it in the PG-13 range.
Give it action.
LOTS of implied violence.
ex. a Hylian Knight gets decapitated. You see the sword coming at him from the murderer's view. Then black. Maybe the feet of a body are seen.
Make Link a midieval warrior, not a ninja like in the games. ie. No flips and special moves.
Give it an opening monologue about Hyrule.
Make it more mideival.
Houses are either stone or mud.
Make the gerudos a bunch of celtic-like barbarians with a strong arabic influence.
Link+Zelda relationship must occur. Similar to the Ginny+Harry relationship. As a 13 year old he notices her, but wants to be a kid. The quest progresses, they have a hollywood love intrest.
If there is a sequel, it should be a mixture of TP and ALttP.
Two worlds, Ahanhim, Ganon the demon, twilight realm, magic mirror, and a resistence league. (The Group with about 30 people. With cudgles. And knives.)
Yeah, but Link should look good. make him OoT Link in sime ways. And make him live in a village, not as a Kokiri in a forest.

Zelda is not dark and mature.
I'd try and keep the certificate as low as possible.
The higher the certificate, the less amount of people seeing your film.
And again, its not a violent story.

Gerudos are not barbarians, they have just the same right as Hylians on the land.

Zelda and Link have a childhood friendship, nothing more. Even though they do care for each other hugely, its nothing more than platonic love.

I don't intend to include anything in a movie that doesn't consistently flow through each of the series, except for small references.

The first might entail a slightly narrow view of Ganon. He is the main antagonist after all, but with the reflection of sequels, we'll see a much deeper Ganondorf.

Dude, I'm sorry to say that you need some CGI for an action/adventure movie to do well these days. And in like, what, eight years, that'll be even more true.
