what about a Zelda (the princess) makeover?

what if we get zelda a makeover --> facelift, new clothes,...
what would she look like (nice zelda or awful ganondorf?) and
should it be a good idea? You know removing the pink stuff and make it another color
look poll above!

I didn't see the poll at first. I don't know, maybe.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

The poor gal needs an overhaul in the worst kind of way. She's been wearing pink and white and the occasional blue for the past two decades, I'm sure she's tired of it.

I think her outfit and hairstyle in TP was a nice somewhat-departure from the usual, and I liked how her hair was done. But she definitely needs something new.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

First of all, why would we change Zelda's clothes? It inflicts just more problems with the Zelda theorists. Mainly, there's no actual point of changing Zelda's look. And second of all, She's an relatively pretty woman and her clothes improve in nearly every Zelda game. Except from OoT -> MM.
Where you essentially manage to see her in a 3 second flashback.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

If we are going to start giving people make overs lets start with Madonna XD. Anyway, I think that Zelda doesn't really need a change, but it would not be a bad thing.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

Look, man... Zelda gets a new look with each game. I really don't think there's a point in an entire topic discussing that she needs a new look (no offense).

This is considered rent-a-modding. I know because I already have 3 infractions on my profile. Check it out.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

I wouldn't see any real point of changing her style. I havn't ever thought "oh look, Princess Zelda's still wearing the same old rubbish". That's just what she wears, I say keep it traditional.

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

Not a facelift- as Princess of the Hylians and Hyrule, she looks very Hylian. Pale, pointed facial characteristics, fair hair...

I never really think that Zelda needs a new look pronto. We almost always see her in her royal gown, which is bound to look similar to her ancestors and descendants. However, I would like to see a Zelda in something other than her ceremonial gown at some point during the game, possibly during an escape from the castle or traveling clothes (nice way to broadcast the fact you are easily robbed royalty, Oracles Zelda!).

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

Yeah I don't think she needs a new look or anything, It's nice to see her always looking like she does. She could however have slight variations in the future but nothing too drastic.

I know it's considered rent-a-modding, and I apologize for that, but I'm just pointing out an apparently unnoticed fact.

Dude, that ain't rent-a-moddong. Sunstrider gave her personal opinion and said that he didn't think there should be a whole thread about it.

Meh. Zelda can keep the way she looks. Leave the poor princess be. I think she has more on her mind than an in-season wardrobe. =P

Re: what about zelda's clothes?

I like the way Zelda is now. Her hairstyle changes somewhat in each game, and her outfit is great. I'm not usually one for pink, but I think Zelda's outfit really fits a Hylian princess. Besides, the dress helps you know that this is Zelda rather than any other Hylian girl.
