"Epic" battles [Spoilers]

The gattle where you fight Ganon in OoT, for me that was one of the best fight in the game, everything that led up to it felt awesome, the battle was awesome, the music was great, and in the end the way Link ended it just made the battle feel epic to me.

List some of the battles in any Legend of Zelda game that felt epic or awesome to your.

The battle at the end of TP, and the battle at the end of WW were both very epic.

The battle with Thunderbird in AOL.

Actually, none. The battles are too easy, which takes away 80% of the "epicness". In OoT what did Ganon do? He was walking around... slowly.... swinging his swords sometimes and all you had to do is roll underneath his feet and strike his tail... In TP it was even easier. Just keep rolling around him untill you get an opening and strike... Same thing in TWW. Ganondorf / Ganon is so lame as a last boss. And msot Zelda bosses for that matter.
The only fight I say was epic was Ganon in ALttP.

I'd say Ganon in Ocarina of Time is the most epic because of the music, location, atmosphere, and how it was presented (losing the Master Sword right before the fight, Zelda screaming from beyond the fire barrier when you were attacked). But yes, it was far too easy.

TPs final FOUR battles were good, I mean the twist of having to fight ZELDA! I mean really. And then the greatest battle with Gannondorf EVER! An actual 1 on 1 SWORDFIGHT! It was AMAZING!

Dark Link, in AOL, ALTTP and OOT. Nothing is more epic than the Hero having to take himself down.

Also, the NES boss battles are pretty epic too, as they leave an awful lot to the imagination. For instance, Link is a twelve year old boy, and his first exploit in LOZ is to take down a huge dragon (Aquamentus) with a wooden sword. If that's not epic, I don't know what is!

Well, OoT first and foremost..the feeling of ascending the tower with the music getting louder and then the sight of Zelda and the horror on her face ( matching yours ), and Ganondorf's dramatic cape-sweep and then you are fighting the King of Evil himself. And the Ganon stage was nicely done, great music and everything.
I liked how they built up to that moment.

WW's didn't feel so much epic as much as "deju-vu"..but it was epic in it's own way. ( the sense of relief to finally finishing what was started in OoT )

TP, the sword fight with Ganondorf was awesome. It was like: "fans we know you want a one-on-one dual with the King of Evil himself..here you go." That particular part felt epic.

I'm going to have to agree with the OoT Ganondorf/Ganon battle being epic. Easy, but the atmosphere was spectacular.

I can't think of another epic in a Zelda game...

To me, AoL was an epic battle from start to finish. The game was difficult from the start, but the ending.........holy crap!!!! Just trying to get to the Great Palace and then battling Thunderbird and then Dark Link was insane!!

Obviously, the most epic battle in Zelda is the last in TP. Four different stages, which all left me wondering if I would survive the next fight.

you get to fight ganondorf 1 on 1 in TP? can't wait to get the wii...

In case of epicness, i don`t care about how hard battle is. That`s why TWW is the winner.

Sword fight with Ganondorf in TP would be the most epic battle ever if it wasn't so damn easy. OOT's Ganon is still the most epic and simply the best boss.

WW had its moments but with the exception of Puppet Ganon all the boss battles including the final Ganon were insanely easy. Easier than TP or OOT boss battles by a longshot and thats not saying much. I can beat WW Ganon in my sleep tenfold times a thousand. I have actually let Zelda shoot me with the light arrows on purpose to give WW Ganon a fighting chance.

For me, OoT Ganondorf/Ganon beats everything else hands down. The music, the location, the atmosphere--it was all there. I would say that it's too easy, except that it wasn't easy way back when I first played it.

All four stages of TP's Ganondorf battle was pretty awesome. The music was awesome, too. It could have been harder, but the 1 on 1 battle was one of them moments that I was saying to myself, "Why am I playing this stupid game?!" mainly because of the tapping A.
