Favorite Shield

Ok what is your favorite shield from Zelda? I couldn't list all of them so if you like a different one besides these, you can just list it

The Mirror Shield is pretty cool. You can kill Re-deads just by reflecting light on them and I thought that was pretty neat. It also opened up more possibilities for puzzles. I was pretty dissapointed that TP didn't have the Mirror Shield though.

I'm glad TP didn't have the mirror shield. From LttP to OoT to WW, we've seen the mirror idea used way too much in my opinion. What new things would they do with it? I'd rather them come up with a new type of shield instead of the same thing that already had dungeons revolving around it in previous games. Like at least they changed the hookshot a bunch to the clawshot in TP.

Anyway, back to favorite shield. Mine would have to be the Hylian shield. It just fits Link perfectly, I always use it whenever I can. I love the name of it and it looks like a hero's shield too, it's a part of Link's image in my mind.

The mirror sheild first came to me in OoT. I was already in the Spirit Temple mood, and I was just like wow... It brought so much to life for me. And Link's could finally use it to sort out his hair.

My favorite was the Mirror Shield from OoT. I'd like pretty much anything that had to do with reflecting light onto stuff and making it appear. I don't see who wouldn't vote for it! You even beat a boss with boss with it!

The mirror shield is shiny and has a cool design on it. With regards to overall storyline at least it was useful and like the post above you needed it for a boss!

I know it's typical but I like the mirror shield the best. It's the best looking and actually does something BESIDES block for you.

Is there not already a thread like this just without a poll? Well I'll just give a short answer as I already said in the previous thread. The OoT Mirror Shield is my No.1. It looks pimp, it has Gerudo origins and it proved priceless against Twinrova, the biggest role a shield has had against a boss.

Mirror shield OoT style. i just think its cool because
A. it looks really awesome
B. it helps with alot of puzzels andfinally
C. magic deflection

Personally i love the Hylian shield, Just in TP it looks absoloutly amazing on Link.
