Basing my vote on how fun they are to fight, Stallord is my favorite. The Spinner is so badass.

Re: The Boss Thread

I'd have to say that Zant was my favorite boss to defeat. I mean that guy was off his rocker practically. When I finished the game I re-started another file while while ago. Progress is a little slow BUT I beat my Gaming Hour record by half. Now All I need to do is beat up Agorok and then skip and prance my way to the Twilight Kingdom and have tea and crumpets with an old pal! Second would be the Stallord

Third and Fourth favorite battle from OoT would have to be Twin Rova and the thing that doesn't look right. (yeah him, I forgot his name but he looks like a giant Weenie) A natural 'One Eyed Willie.' :XD

Re: The Boss Thread

Zant provided an excellent battle, though his attacks could have been more powerful. I liked it how he brought the fight to you and made an attack out of the spinning he did in the Twilight Palace. When I fought him, I was wary since he had already proven he could kick Link's butt (Lanayru's Spring: twice.) His shouts sounded like a senile old man. As a sidenote, why do people say he shouts like a girl when hit? He just grunts in a masculine voice.

On the subject of bosses in general, I remember so many bosses being incredibly difficult, only to watch the fights on Youtube years later and realize that it wasn't that hard. I guess I sucked at games back then or something. One of which was Majora. I recall the boss masks shooting many blasts in a certain pattern, with one boss firing after another boss did. Majora's Incarnation, as I recall, was freakishly fast and impossible to hit unless you were lucky. Finally, I remember Majora's Wrath as having fast attacks, some of which needed to be dodged. However, thanks to Youtube, it doesn't look all that difficult. As a final note, for some reason, I always thought that Majora's Wrath roared at you in a very deep voice. However, it really shouts and laughs at Link in a woman's voice.

Bongo-Bongo (Twin Wolves' "one-eyed weenie") had a creepy factor. Some people might not think about this, and sure he looks kind of dumb when the flaps cover his eye, but ultimately the boss is a rotting human torso with the head cut off, as well as the hands. There aren't any legs either. It is interesting that he came from the Bottom of the Well, which was placed under where the owner of the Lens of Truth once lived. Also, BB kicked the butts of Link, Shiek, and possibly killed Impa. That's grusome yet awesome.

Phantom Ganon just had this supernatural vibe. His face was a skull, he leapt into places no being should be able to, he had a deep laugh, a cool spear, and his legs had no bones in them. He really felt like some ghost.

And of course, OOT's Ganondorf was just awesome going on music alone. The powerful attacks, the double stun, the platforms, everything. The Ganon fight afterwards just made it better.

I still pity the one eyed weenie! Lol, for the longest time I called Bongo Bongo that, I guess it stuck and probably the sort of only way I remember him as. Anyway, the battle was good.

Re: The Boss Thread

I would have to say that out of all of them, I love Stallord the best. The fight was somewhat challenging (he actually hurt me), and it was also fun because of the way you have to use the spinner.

My second favorite boss would have to be Twinrova. It was fun having to use your shield against them. Although I did think they were pretty dumb.

Re: The Boss Thread

Well I like to do some challenging things so I like the boss in the Water Temple in OoT but I forgot the name of the boss, I haven't been up playing OoT lately but I got to say that would be my favorite. The Sisters in the Spirit Temple (Twinrova I think?) of OoT are fun too, but of course I forgot most names of bosses from OoT as I said.

i loved stallord because of the methods you use and i liked argorok because he was easy and cool. TP gannon was good because of all the stages and how you do them.

Re: The Boss Thread

I think my favourite boss was Ganondorf from TWW. I just loved rolling around and doing all the sword comboness. It's nice seeing Zelda be useful for once too! And reflecting light arrows with your shield: sweet. I loved the rolling finishing blow. Amazing! ^_^

Re: The Boss Thread

To decide which boss is my favorite i have to think back to the first time i played the games of zelda.
the first time i played OoT Belladona and Phantom Ganon was the toughest
but i liked Bongo bongo too because it was one of the few boss that we actually saw outside of a dungeon.
Dark Link was the hardest for me i tried everything and i only beat him with the first spell.

As for the other games in MM , Majora himself due to the three forms(and no OniLink)

Yea, Dark Link was difficult. The trick is to not z-target and try and hit him in the side. I never thought of using spells. Clever! =)

Re: The Boss Thread

honestly i think my favourte boss is Bongo Bongo. He is very challenging cause to defeat him the first time you fight him you must use the lenths of truth and that consumes alot of magic so it was frustrating for me at the cause of i ran out of magic ...!

I just beat Argoroth on TP. Loved that boss. Not only is he a dragon, you clawshot and slash away; that was already my favorite part of Morpheel and he's all about it here! ^_^ YAY!

Re: The Boss Thread

whoa...now your getting me to make a mouth full lol, some of the bosses i don't remember by name but more by desciption so if i decribe them i hope you know who i'm talking about lol

In ALttP most of the bosses are relativly easy to a certain degree, but when it comes to the first time pretty much all of them are a pain in the butt lol. When i first came to Moldorm which is that big fuzzy worm thing in the 3 temple i had a wow of a time beating him, i kept on getting knocked off the edge over and over again and it really grind my gears lol. Arrghus of the Watergate Dungeon i found easy and always have as it's movements are a dead give away so no need to brag really lol. I have always and always will hate Mothula in the Skull Palace as trying to make sure you not only dodge his attacks and hitting him but your also trying to make sure the moving spikes along the wall and keeping the flame wand filled with magic is a real pain. Trinexx of Turtle Rock isn't really that hard nor easy but i just love the look of him lol.

Link's Awakening had some pretty unusaul bosses but they are all pretty easy to defeat except for when i first encounted Dethl, the main boss of the game. I got through all his stages but i had no clue to defeating his final form and it took me ages to get the idea...DER lol

OoT has some the easiest bosses i have ever fought but it also comes down to the point that i have finished it that many times lol. Dodongo is the weakest and most easiest boss in the WHOLE game is it only requires 3 jump attacks and he's dead, even Queen Gohma was harder then him lol. I have always liked toying with Phantom Ganon when he's off his horse. i like to dodge all his attacks or see how fast i can make the energy ball move between the both of us. It's also the same with Ganondorf i like to toy with him aswell and make the energy fall move as fast as i can make it. I get a good laugh when i repel the energy ball with a bottle, just shows how weak Ganondorf really is to have his power deflected by a simple bottle.

In MM i LOVE to race with Goht. trying to over lap him of coarse is pretty much impossible but it's fun trying. Gyorg was a major pain in my butt when i first came accross him as i didn't know about the Zora's ability to continuesly swim and leap into the air, makes getting outta the water MUCH easier. I have only ever used the Feirce Diety's Mask once against Majora's Mask and i won't ever do it again as it takes the full thrill outta fighting him. Better to show your real skills fighting him in human form.

OoS had many bosses to chose from so i think i'll just stick with the best lookin one lol. i would have to say that Onox's Final Form would have to be the best lookin one. I'd certainly love to fight him in a 3D version like in TP.

In OoA i think Veran would have to be a total pain cause getting through all her forms still alive can be a real challange, not impossible but a real doozy. But after you beat both OoS and OoA and then come to Twinrova you'll be in for a bit of a long battle but if you manage to get in at all her weak spots EVERY time you can you should have it done in no time so it's a pretty fast passed battle. But here's the real poo of the game, Ganon!!! He's big, he's bad and oh so strong. I hate walking on egg shells fighting him cause as soon as you make to many mistakes YOUR DEAD!!!

WW has some sweet as bosses and my most favourite in this one is the Helmaroc King. He's not hard but i just reckon he's the maddest lookin boss in the whole game. When i fight Ganon in this version i just like to beat the living snot outta him instead of killing him.

Now MC had some of the most redicules bosses i have ever seen, and the first boss The Giant Chu-Chu says it all. Mazaal of coarse we all know who resembles, yep you got it Gohdan from WW. Well Vaati is a fine enemy as he's not to easy and not to hard and he really doesn't take no for an answer lol. I would seriously love to see him make a come back if another title is ever made.

Now here's a game the designers really got lazy on, the FSA!!! Every boss in this one is pretty much just a recycle and their just as easy here as they were in the original title they first appeared in. But i would have to say that Ganon has really been sproused up and lookin good in this one.

Well this comes to the end of my 6 page essay of bosses but i hope some of you may have the same passion and insight to some of the bosses that i do

Re: The Boss Thread

Hrmm this is tough. I must say I did like many of the ALttP bosses, especially Vitreous in Misery Mire. And Arrghus(sp) was pretty cool.

MC, I like Gleerok or w/e its called, and having to flip the shell, was pretty fun. The Gyorgs battle was also very cool, having to switch. Vaati was the best boss from MC Though

OoT, probably Ghoma as this was the first 3D game I played ever, let alone boss battle in 3D. And I was 6/7 at the time so I crapped myself when it dropped from the ceiling.

MM, Odolwa was awrrshum, loved his weird battle cry. Not sure if it counts, but Igos Du Ikana was also awesome, having to use the Mirror sheild to defeat him

WW, I loved fighting the Helmaroc king, it was fun and inventive. Which is a lie, but it was pretty original. Which is also a lie, but it was fun for what it was, smashing a birds skull into the ground with a frikkin huge hammer

TP, all bosses were great in this game. I like Stallord most, and Blizetta. And if we count Subosses, then Darknut, as it was truly a sword brawl that I had been waiting for.

Re: The Boss Thread

Hm, my favorite boss is Volvagia because not only is he/she a fire breathing dragon but he/she totally kicks ass.

The most intriguing boss battle for me was definitely Stallord, i found the whole spinner thing quite entertaining.

The most epic battle was without a doubt Ganondorf in TP, the fact that I was using my Wii remote to kill him, it was priceless.

The hardest boss battle for me was Dark Link, I would allways bring an extra bottle of green potion just to beat him because I would use Din's fire all the time.
