Ganondorf is like a werewolf

Topic: To discuss the similarities between Ganondorf and a werewolf.

It has come to my attention that the King of Evil shares many of the characteristics of a werewolf.

Ganondorf can only truly be killed by the silver arrows.
A werewolf can only truly be killed by a silver bullet.

Ganondorf has a human form and changes into a beast.
Werewolves have human forms and then change into a beast.

The resulting wolf is typically cunning but merciless, and prone to killing and eating people without compunction regardless of the moral character of the person when human. The form a werewolf takes is not always an ordinary wolf, but is often anthropomorphic or may be otherwise larger and more powerful than an ordinary wolf. Many modern werewolves are also supposedly immune to damage caused by ordinary weapons, being vulnerable only to silver objects (usually a bullet or blade).

When transformed, werewolves and Beast Ganon are ferocious creatures that do not seem to be in the same state of mind as they were when they were human.

Whether or not Ganondorf changes willingly is in question of course.

-OoT : He activates the ToP and becomes Ganon when he is very weak.
-TP : It is a result of him again being terribly weakened and then he transforms.
- tWW : He summons a puppet Ganon.

For the sake of similarities I will say that when Ganondorf is in a weakened state he changes much like the full moon puts the human into a weakened state so that they become a werewolf.

And yes this has nothing to do with Link being a wolf lol.

Hhhhmmmm...I never thouht of that. However, I think Link is more like a werewolf than Ganondorf because he turns into a wolf .

Well, I'd say BOTH are like werewolves really, listening to you both.

I'd say that they are both werewolves too really because they both have a beast like form aswell as a human(ish) form

In TP, you fight Ganondorf in his Beast form first, and then in his human form. I don't think he turns into his beast form because he is weakened. (Yes yes, he possessed Zelda, but where did he get the energy to turn back into his human form for the final battle?)

And I thought they were Light arrows in Ocarina of Time? o-o'

And, I don't know, I still think Ganondorf has the same mind set whether he is in human form or not. It wasn't as if Ganondorf was Link's best mate before he transformed, right? XD

Interesting points but in one of the earlier Zelda games it states that Ganondorf can only be killed by the silver arrows. The light arrows can merely pierce his dark veil of magic.

Just look at Ganon in OoT and TP. They are clearly ferocious beats running around and waving its swords mindlessly. They are clearly not in the same state of mind as when they were human.

i to think hes part warewolf he even looks like one at that one stage in TP. and he gets killed by silver arrows and warewolfs get killed by silver bullets

lol yes but what qualities exactly do werepigs have?

I'm just saying that Ganon/Ganondorf share a lot of similar qualities with a werewolf.

Anyway Yeah I do find some similarities between a wereworlf and Gonnodorf beoming Gonon

Ganondorf is not a were-wolf, he is a were-pig, duh! (lol)
