What should I play first?

MC or TP?



I was thinking I should start with MC, and save the greater game for later.
Or should I just go straight to TP?

Your thoughts?

MC would be a good start!

Why dose it matter? you will end up playing on them both anyway.

If this is your first time jumping into the Zelda universe, Minish Cap would be a good choice for beginners. If you're an old-school Zelda fan, though, or just too impatient, you could head straight for Twilight Princess. So, if you:

Are a beginner at Zelda, want an easy-going game, like games with light plots: Start with The Minish Cap.

Are an old-schooler with Zelda, want to play a video game in a different experience, like games with dark twists: Play Twilight Princess.

Personally, I would play The Minish Cap first and save Twilight Princess for later, but that's just my opinion.

Minish Cap First. Get the experience of a great Zelda game first hand, then move on to TP.

Yep im gonna agree with all these other people. If your new to LoZ then start out with MC. Then move on to TP.

I agree with part of <Oni Link>'s post. If you are new to LoZ, you should start with TMC, because TP is pretty challenging. But, if you want that challenge, go ahead and play TP.

THIS is a pretty dumb thread, but I'll go along. "Dumb" is my middle name. Or was it "Nicholas"...?
Erm, go with MC. TP is WAY to good to play right away.

I'd have to say Minish Cap.

If you started with Twilight Princess, you may be underwhelmed by Minish Cap and choose not to play it, since it is a handheld, and well, Twilight Princess is Twilight Princess.

Definitely... no I mean DEFINITELY start with Minish Cap, and then go to Twilight Princess. If you start with Twilight Princess, you will be disappointed by Minish Cap's lack of well... difficulty, and fighting style. So start with Minish Cap, and leave the best for last.

Please start with MC..since TP is TP you might wanna start with the simple but cool MC and then go to the the Awesome TP..^^;

MC. Trust me, if you play TP first it will ruin the MC because it can't compare. So enjoy the MC as an appetizer, then move onto the main course.

Play MC till u get stuck then start TP till you figure out what you needed to do, and same if you get stuck in TP

The Minish Cap is an all-around good Zelda, but it's no proper introduction to the series like TWW or OoT. I advise, if you want to start with a modern Zelda, to start with TWW. It's an incredible game. If possible, start with OoT (if you can get your hands on it). That's how very many of us (not including me) were introduced into the series.

If you've gotta choose one, go with TP. =P

I'm not new to the Zelda series.


I've played WW, OoT, and MM.

Play Twilight Princess, and skip the Minish Cap altogether. It's a horrible game which I hardly consider to be Zelda. But I guess you could still play it so you understand terms, characters, and events we talk about on the forums.

Why play MC first, play the greater game first. Hell I started with OoT, as did probably at least 50% of people here.

Play MC first even though is not as good as TP.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this subject. No one can say for sure. Just play whichever one you can get your hands on, first!
