Whats the dumbest thing you did in a Zelda game?

I did this just yesterday as I was playing a new WW file for fun:

I was in the Forsaken Fortress, the first time you go, and i was in the barrel to trick the gaurds, and i accidentally threw the barrel off me under a lite. -_- Very stupid.

And I did the same thing in the Arbiters Grounds as Zelfreakv1. Heh, yeah, I died, too.

And, wow. I have never heard of someone drifting all the way to Dragon Roost Island w/o a sail. Dood, that would take like, for freaking ever. lol

TWW: Taking 2 ENTIRE DAYS to figure out that I had to use my newly received bottle to get some water, sprinkle it on withered bombs and blow away the big boulder on Dragon Roost Island.

OoT: I was so young at the time, but I was so scared of the Shadow Temple, it took me nearly 2 MONTHS to beat it. I didn't even want to enter the boss's room.

hmm...probably, putting on the Iron boots when on one of those falling blue blocks in City in the Sky..holy crap do you fall fast!
Edit- forgot something: working my rear end off to FINALLY get all the stray fairies in MM in Snowhead dungeon, only to play the song of time and completly forget them, and get reset.

Same thing really, couldn't find the sword and kept dying in the boulder area. Took me a few weeks to realise the sword was actually there.

The dumbest thing I ever done was back at the Majora's Mask.

I was at the top of the Clock Tower and I was getting ready to play the Ocarina to stop the moon, but mother called and I got out of the Ocarina and I thought I press start, but I didn't.

After I was done what mother needed me to do, I came back to my room saying, "Alright! Let's beat that game!" And soon after I said that, the timer was up and Games Over. I was like, "...damn."

Wind waker - went to fight ganon with only 2 and 3/4 hearts and no fairys or soup etc

I equipped the Iron Boots in OoT and jumped into a volcano with the Zora Tunic on ^_^

OoT: Started playing as an adult in the Forest Temple and forgot to get Din's Fire. Why would this be a problem? There is a room where to get out you need to hit the eye. The only problem was...it was covered in ice...NO Din's Fire, NO fire arrows, CAN'T get DF, CAN'T get FA's. What did I do? I DON'T REMEBER!!!!

LoZ: Right after beating Ganon with (I believe) 1 heart left, I went up to the next room where Zelda was waiting and ran straight into the fire without thinking it could hurt me. If I were her, I would've laughed so hard.

I got a key in Water Temple (OoT) and used it on the wrong door. It ended up alright, but I spent several days trying to figure out how to work around things. I then I realized that I needed to get into the center column of the main room.

OoT: Was dumb enough to hit the cuccoo (fortunately, I used the Sun's Song to save my @$$.)

WW: Was dumb enough to hit the piggy (I died? No that can't be right... *resets Gamecube* All better :3 )

TP: Was dumb enough to hit the goat (Man, it feels good to be invincible!)

I have never beat LoZ. I ALWAYS find a fairy that gives me instant death. It is impossible for me to go through that game and not find the death fairy. I'll be mad at it for months, then try to play again and always the death fairy! ARGH! ;_;

Well I can't think of many stupid things I've done in Zelda right now (I'm sure there are plenty), but heres a mildly amusing one: earlier, I was getting the second Sol back to the entrance of the Palace of Twilight in TP, and kept trying to get to the door I just came in through. I thought it took me back to the entrace.

Oh yeah, now I remember something; when I first played TWW, when I went to the Fairy Forest and saw that first Bokoblin, I went: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!! !!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!" and ran out of the forest as fast as I could.

What the Hell was I thinking?

In TP, I kept accidentally riding the boars off cliffs. Then it took me forever to figure out that you had to smell the reekfish.
Also, I got halfway through TP by myself the first time without the strategy guide. But then the second time I went through the first half, I got totally lost and couldn't figure anything out!

I tried to jump strike a ReDead in a group of ReDeads while playing TWW. It went something like this:

*strikes* What's this thing? Looks like a...
*gets frozen* Aaaahnogethisthingoffame!
*is unfrozen* Alright. Now time to kick some...
*is frozen again* Not again.
*is unfrozen* Ok. Now THIS time I'm gonna...
*frozen once again* OH COME ON!
*ReDeads hump Link to death* Oh. So THAT'S what they were...

OOT MQ: I shot a cow and went through a door. (I know that's what you're supposed to do, but it's dumb nonetheless...)

WW: When trying to reach the dungeon a second time in the deku tree place, I missed and had to climb the deku tree all over again... Bleh...

TP: Left the fairy dungeon right before starting the last section...
