Old Zelda Cartoon

Hey I was looking on video google and look what I found. . What do you think?

The infamous Zelda cartoon is widely known and despised by many of the Zelda fanbase.
Except for weirdos like me that see awesome in their cheesiness. :XD

But yeah, a simple youtube or google video search would bring up all thirteen episodes or so, I think,

Thanks, I just thought that many people might not of seen it so I posted this thread to show them.

I watched it before. I didn't think it was horrible, but it was certainly nothing I'd have on the iPod Video that I don't have.

Anyways, I love this show, its a good show, if you dont like it, your not a Zelda fan at heart. And yes, the cheesiness, ah how I ador the cheesiness.

I know, I pretty much just echoed SD, but, ohwell.

haha. oh man, i have not seen those since my older bro bought the collector's edition dvd set for my birthday. classic? yes, interesting? kinda, cheesy? hell yes, awesome? meh.

It's funny and a good show, but it's so untrue to the Zelda tradition. Since when is Link such blunt womanizer? Sure, he gets a lot of women, but not through words, but through his awesome actions. He doesn't speak like that (I don't think he can speak XDDD) and his personality is too rebel. Still funny though.

They are versy cheesey and I have only seen 1 of them.

I bought them on DVD. Got them in from America. They're actually alright. I mean, it is very cheesy, and I really don't think Link says 'Well excuuuuuuuse me, Princess!' But hey, it has it's moments, like how Ganon is a bungling blockhead. Just watch them without pretending your eyes are bleeding, you might find they are actually alright.

5/10 in my opinion.

I don't think that you can get them on DVD in england, exept if you go on ebay or something.

Oh man! I love the Zelda cartooons!!!
They make me feel like a kid again... no matter how cheezy they are, I still enjoy watching them every now and then.

I guess I am another weirdo since I like them and actually bought the DVD set!

Yes I have seen every episode, and oddly enough despite what every one else thinks.

Wow....I think Link just wanted to get in Zelda's pants...but the show wansn't all that bad.

If you look up "zelda amv" on YouTube you can find a lot of cute music videos made with clips from that show. Some of them are pretty well done!

Well, it was the 80's. Not alot of shows were THAT great at that time, compared to the shows and cartoons we see now on TV (in better colour and quality and such).

This Zelda cartoon, I have to admit, was fairly good to watch in my opinion, but I wouldn't be going around saying, "The Zelda cartoon is the greatest thing on Earth!" Only extreme, EXTREME fanboys would act like that. The show wasn't that great to be watching over and over again.

The mario cartoon was alot better than the Zelda one.

Its alright its not the best thing I have seen and its really cheesy but overall its not that good.

the cheesyness is what makes it good.

I saw some episodes of that cartoon, and I loved it... I nearly cracked a rib laughing, it was so cheesy. I love it for the same reasons I love all the old Godzilla films, because it's just so bad it's good.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- They need to make a slightly more realistic, new Zelda cartoon. Oh yeah, without the cheesiness.

After watching some of the episodes, it seems as though the cartoon could of been very good if it didn't have all the terrible one-liners, and if a little more effort was put in to the production of the show.
