Thanks a lot, but I've beaten Arbiters Grounds now. Stallord was awesome. And I don't want to use guides for TP; I ruined TWW and TMC for myself that way.

Loving the yeti also, they rule.

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

My favourite Zelda games are Oot, WW, and TP. I can't really decide, being that they're all entertaining and have excellent storylines.

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

I chose three, just because I could. Hee hee!

Zant was annoying. I couldn't figure out how to kill him in that first part (I forgot about the boomerang). I give up after three days of dying, and my little brother comes in and defeats all the zant forms in under five minuets. I think he did it out of spite... little bugger...

My brother like TWW best. I'm thinking about buying a DS just so he can play the sequel: the Phantom Hourglass.

I chose TP, MM, and OoT.

TP is my FAVORITE game of all time. MM and OoT are close for second best... hmm..

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

ocarina of time for me is the best, it was the first 3d one and i think it was better than wind waker and majoras mask, but majoras mask was pretty fun so that would be second place, but up to this day since ocarina of time first came out i havent gotten tired of playing it, so from time to time i erase the games and start from scratch =)

Holy crap! Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess are tied at 132 votes a piece!

Ocarina of Time is definitely the better of the two. It is a much more complete game, and every bit as enjoyable. Many of the landmarks in Twilight Princess--Snowpeak, Kakariko, the Grave Yard, the Sacred Woods, essentially everything--were beautiful, but surprisingly underdeveloped, and the story was simply dropped after Arbiter's Grounds. It definitely did not live up the developer's hyperbole, though it was a great game in its own right.

Alas, if I had Twilight Princess, that would be an easy choice..hopefully. I'm grateful for the multiple choice option.
Majora's mask was weird, but cool. It creeped me out, but in a good way. I raised a lot of questions as well.

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

mine was a tie between OoT and WW,because i liked the game of wind waker and look of wind waker better, but it was too short and too easy,OoT on the other hand isnt as good of a game as WW,but its challenging and long, but i voted WW because the gameplay just blew me away, but i havnt played TP yet,so it will probally be the winner.

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

I voted MM. It was, in my opinion, one of two games in the series that gave any depth of character. It brought you into the emotions of the NPCs, and, as always, Link said so much, without saying anything at all. The ability to change forms was an awesome twist, and allowed for some really cool puzzles. The story was immaculate. With almost no backstory, you knew exactly what the situation was. This game spoke the language of pure emotion, and was universally easy to relate to.
I'm almost through Twilight Princess, and I have to say, it has some of the qualities of Majora's Mask that I loved, but to a lesser degree. However, it covered the gap with consistently fun gameplay, an amazing fighting engine, and my favorite boss fight of any Zelda game ever, Stallord. I saved right before fighting him, and once I beat him, I started saving on a different slot so that I could fight him whenever I want. Ive done it at least 10 times now. Twilight Princess comes in a close second.

I totally agree. They are both great games, but Ocarina of Time just keeps getting better as the game goes on while Twilight Princess becomes weaker in dungeons, plot, and characters as the game goes on.

Re: Favourite Zelda Game

TP is my favourite Zelda. The game loses steam a bit after the Temple of Time, but still has larger, more complex and memorable dungeons than OoT (Personally, I got sick of OoT after the Forest Temple Temple. It picked up a bit in the Shadow Temple, but was still irritatingly lacklustre after the Forest Temple).Plus, I liked the uncoventional secondary villain and, hell, the whole game was great. Besides the Stalfos. ONE BOMB.

OoT is overrated and has been surpassed three times over, ALTTP is amazing but not on par with the post-OoT 3D games, MM is amazingly atmosphreic but a tad short, and TWW is quite possibly the only Zelda where I enjoyed the sidequests more than the main game.
