Re: Zelda Bird

It's because the Zelda symbol is just an edited version of the original symbol (on the Guy's shirt).

Re: Zelda Bird

Almost no similarity whatsoever and birds are very common decorations.

Re: Zelda Bird

rand and Goron Man are right, many symbols have birds with thier wings spred out. They sort of look the same, interesting find, but no dice.

Re: Zelda Bird

It's a coincidence. The eagle was one of the more popular animals for knights to have on their coat of arms. (I'm so white and nerdy!)

Re: Zelda Bird

a bird was, as LinkZeldaGanon said, a popular symbol used in the medieval times. The bird usually represented knowledge or enlightenment and skill; a "seer" who comprehends all things. To bear this symbol was a great honor.

Re: Zelda Bird

Yeah, The Eagle especially was a common and prestegious symbol back in the day. So, that's why Nintendo decided on it. Simple, but powerful all the same.
