Your most beloved Or wierd zelda moments

Hey guys! I havent been active on ZU in a while much less created a thread. I decided to start this because I have alot of memories to share, so I will start.

1st. When I Beat ganon for the first time on OOT, I was so happy, I litterally was extatic, or like the time when I figured out how to beat dodongos cavern, at the age of 7, That was a good nostalgic memory.

2. When I helped Romani fend off the aliens attacking the ranch, which took a while but was rewarding, when I helped out Cremia.

3. When I beat MM and I got to free all the giants, and defeated the evil mask. Or when I made kafei and anjus dreams come true.

4. The only time I really cried in a zelda game, When the king of red lions drowned and I had beaten WW. I was so sad to see the KORL die. But i felt hope, for link and tetra, to find new lands.

So what are your memories?

Cheers,

Joe

Re: Your most beloved Or wierd zelda moments

My first beloved moment was when I played LA for the first time. I had never played ALttP since I skipped over the SNES, so LA was just...so...the greatest video game I had ever played after several NES games. My second was playing OoT the first time. I fell in love all over again that day.

I can't think of a truly wierd moment right now. Though OoT Shadow Temple was a bit freaky...

Hah. The beloved moment of Zelda is when Link pisses off the Fisherman in OoT by stealing his hat. That trick is halarious!

Why PM you when I can get a post for it? lol

Alls you have to do is fix yourself in a osition away from the counter and aim the fishing rod at the fisherman. Try it over and over again and I am sure you wil snag his hat off. He'll even get more mad at you if you drown it in the pound!

Well, that's what I tried. I tried it from the front and the side. Finally I decided a long time ago that it wasn't worth the time.

My most memorable moment was when I found the Kokiri sword in OoT. Good times.

Re: Your most beloved Or wierd zelda moments

My first was when I beat OoT. After that, when I played Wind Waker, and I discovered Hyrule under the water, I realized how amazing the Zelda Legacy is. It was done sooooo well. Hyrule castle underwater brought to me the most emothion I'd ever experienced in a video games.

It's cliche, but the credits roll of Ocarina of Time is timeless. It's just a cinematic bliss.

Re: Your most beloved Or wierd zelda moments

A great memory of mine from Zelda was when I beat the Coo Coo's in Ocarina of Time for the first time and discovered they fight back. I tried desperately to run away as they flew at me taking out my hearts in a matter of seconds while I was screaming for Link to run away. But they overtook me and I was slain.

Hilarious.

Re: Your most beloved Or wierd zelda moments

The best part of all the Zelda moments combined was the entire Wind Temple in WW. That temple was the "climax", forget the rest of the game and all of its fun. That temple was the temple, better than Spirit.

Also the first time I beat OoT was awesome because I had my friend over and we were technically "noobs" but what do you expect, we were 8. We got pretty involved in it as well, we died over 78 times in the original run. When I struck that final blow we celebrated. From that moment on we wanted to become gamers...

Are you kidding? Spirit temple Owns, comon, the music, the puzzles, the monsters! Items, and all topped off with a great boss? Pfff The wind temple was bad. But thats your opinion.

Cheers,
