CD-i Zelda's? Did you like them?

Well, they are kinda dumb, and really stupid, but I like The Wand of Gamelon. I liked the music, but it's kinda dumb how you play Zelda. It should be "Zelda's Adventure." Tell me if you think they are okay.

Re: CD-i Zelda's? Did you like them?

I love the CDi Zelda games. They are beautiful in every last way, certainly leaving OoT and TWW in the dust.

All three games were filled to the brim with passion, adventure, action, romance, and life lessons that I carry to this day.

How can you forget the way Koridai took your breath away when you saw it the first time? Or the tingle of excitement upon first entering the land of Gamelon?

And the characters- the King, a strong, kind man. Zelda, as beautiful as she is wise. Impa, always loving and helpful. And, of course, Link- always brave and ready for a new adventure.
And who can forget the loathsome Ganon, and the very aura of evil that he carried with him? The way he was portrayed, I swore the Prince of Darkness was right there next to me.

But, I know, words are useless. May this give you a better idea-

Even though these games are rare I get the feeling that a lot of people own them - why is that?

I've never had the chance to play them but they're nothing special anyway.

Dude, what the hell are you talking about?!?! The animation (mostly cut-scene ani.) in the game S-U-C-K-E-D!!! And the only the thing worse than the animation was the way you beat the game. You just take out the book and throw it at Ganon. On the first try and hit, the game's over. The only thing I liked about these games is the music and because these games tell us were NOT to go with Zelda. I seriously doubt you've ever played these games, just read about them.

Ah, another non-believer.

The animation, as you say, "sucked?" Preposterous! You merely have no appreciation nor a true understanding of art.

And defeating Ganon? Zounds, my friend, did you not catch the Christian symbolism!? The Good Book defeats all evil!

Leave me be, thou who has no faith.

Dude, you don't throw a book at him. Jeese, you throw a wand.

Re: CD-i Zelda's? Did you like them?

I jest not, ~NeoLink~. I merely express my love of these wonderful masterpieces in the way I know and can do best.

And Link Marthonia, you and the heathen LOZelda64 are both correct upon this matter- In The Faces of Evil, the brave Link did vanquish the evil Ganon with what some would call merely a "book." As for the beauteous Zelda in The Wand of Gamelon, she struck down the mighty fiend with the Wand of Gamelon itself.

I watched a video of TSA playing Wand of Gamelon... They looked REALLY cheesy, to me anyway.

Re: CD-i Zelda's? Did you like them?

The Faces of Evil is good, Zelda's Adventure is just ewwwww. Before I thought these games were dumb because I thought Link had short hair, but until I seen how good two were.

Re: CD-i Zelda's? Did you like them?

Until a proper emulator for the CD-i is made I'm afraid I won't be able to play them. I've dished out a good deal of money for Zelda stuff ($43 for the Nelsonic Game Watch in mint condition in box with instructions), but the CD-i games are waaaay out of my willing budget.
From what I've seen the cut scenes show too much expression and the art isn't good at all. The gameplay doesn't look all that bad though.
....I swear Janus made those same posts in the last CD-i thread.....

Ah, but of course not, dear boy. The CDi games deserve so much more than mere repetition.
