Who is your favorite villain?

Who, in your opinion, is the best bad guy in the Zelda series, and who is your favorite?

I think Gannondorf is the best (Oot), because he was really evil. hear tortured everyone, ruined most of their lives, killed them, threw them into despair. He was a truley bad bad guy.

Vaati (TMC) and Skull Kid are my favorites. cause their awsome. I like gannondorf to cause, well, he's GANNONDORF!!!!

You're GANNON-BANNED! Rule No. 1 I believe.

Anyways, I'd have to say that either TWW Ganondorf or TMC Vaati was my favourite. In TWW, Ganondorf was a much wiser man than in OoT. He regretted the past and his actions, and he longs for Hyrule. He tells Link exactly why he wanted the Triforce and why he wanted Hyrule, and he's a much deeper character than he's ever been before.

As for TMC Vatti, I just think he's cool in TMC. He had a good character, he looked really evil and he was just cool.

If I had to choose, I'd say TWW Ganondorf.

Ooh, definitely Vaati! I thought he was the coolest! His three forms were awesome in TMC and his character was good too. In fact, I thought he sounded more evil than Ganondorf.

Ganondorf/Ganon is definitely the most diabolical and persistent villain in the Zelda series. He is Link's arch-enemy, afterall, so I say that Ganondorf is the best.

Ganondorf/Ganon, simply because of traditions sake.

I kinda like Vaati from TMC, as he was pretty ruthlessly evil .

Ganon pig form is the best. he looks and fights so cool. And he is huge in some of the games! He is way better than Vatti. I personally don't like Vatti at all because I don't think he is evil enough. Ganon is superior!

Majora FTW. Here's why:

Vaati was a failure. He's never achieved anything more than impersonating the king and turning Zelda to stone. Anyone could do that.

Ganondorf is quite decent, but his strategy is questionable. If you had a phantom, and it got flogged, would you use the exact same fighting style as it? I certainly wouldn't. Too predictable. Even with the power of the Triforce, he still gets whipped easily. In every game.

Majora was awesome in its purest form. Vaati and Ganondorf wanted to rule the world. Majora wanted to crash a hundred tons of astral rock into it. That's what I call hardcore evil. It even had time to systematically curse every major region in the world without anyone noticing, and imprison four Gods inside the bodies of its underlings. Add to that a puppet who represents every N64 Zelda gamer ever (shut up, stupid fairy) and you're onto a winner.

In my eyes the skull kid is the best. The reason is becasue that all of his evil acts are games to him but sick and twisted to others and that is awsome. Plus like Vaati he has three forms but Vaati suck and his are superior (not Ganon-DORK)

ganon was a heck of a villain, strong, with the power trifirce, i think no other boss has had a power triforce, adn that makes a boss powerfull and lke in your same level, even when the battle was easier than the battle versus vatti and MM (without gokus mask)
i like the majoras mask boss because he was wierd and vatti because he looks cool

Ganon, he's been in most of the LoZ games, oh and Gannon-Banned is very interesting, I just wasted half an hour reading it. But back to Ganon, if his looks don't frighten you, just think of what it would be like if he sat on you, or imagine how much his grocery bill is, ouch. He looks so bad*** in OoT, two giant sword, glowing eyes, oh yeah, he's bad.
(To Pandaemonium) I don't think blowing up a planet makes you a good villain, I mean, if you kill everyone, what point is there in being a villain, I mean, where's the fun in stealing if there's no one to try to catch you, that kind of defeats the whole purpose of being a villain, in my opinion of course

That's exactly the point. Any other villain would think "Hey, just a minute... if I obliterate the world with a fantastic display of fiery wrath, there'll be no-one to rule over!" Not Majora, though. Logic has no role in Majora's plans. It wants to kill everyone and everything. Why? Because it can. That's my basic philosophy of life, and I like Majora for sharing it.

Edit: Just so you know, I don't condone genocide or apocalypse. I just like doing things without needing a good reason.

Majora is the badass of the villans. Like someone else said, instead of ruling the world, he was ruthless and just wanted the world destroyed. Vaati never seemed very evil to me, and Ganon just gets wupped even when he holds the Triforce of Power. So Majora wins.

Majora never counted for a villain, an evil maybe, but more like malicing force with nothing to control it. But, maybe that's what made him cool. I think if I was to pick top villain it would be Ganon. Because in some sense the guy controls almost everything evil in Hyrule.

Thank you by the way the Skull Kid would be taking out the parallel world to hyrule not hyrule itself. Then he would kill link in the process so then he rule hyrule because link was gone. Also he would take out Ganon when he gets to hyrule. This is why he is the best. Plus there is a time limit then bye-bye. Ganon dont give you a time limit he lets you take as long as you wont to.:cool:

I love Ganondorf from WW, and I love,skull, from, majoras.

I do not love or even like Vaati. He is one of those lame bad guys that Nintendo keep brining back for no apparent reason. Whats so hard about turning Link into a stone to stop him.


Definately gannondorf (OoT of course) for the fact that his character model actually captures the "evil." Also because he looks humanoid and we can relate to (intead of a sand worm or smething)

Majora, basically for being the incarnate of evil.

Majora didn't want to rule anything. He wanted to destroy. That, right there, is pure evil. Sure, Ganon/dorf has persistence, but Majora was smarter. It thought up a plan to use a puppet to imprison the giants, then take control of the moon and send it hurtling into the earth.
Now Ganon's plan is more like this:
1. Get Triforce
3. Take over Hyrule.
