What was the hardest Zelda game period?

The hardest game in my opinion is definately MM. You start off all the way back at the start of the dungeon when you die, it's hard to collect all masks, and I also find it hard to have fun with the game. To be honest, I don't see why people keep complaining about AoL. It may be hard at first, but once you get used to it, it gets much easier. And I haven't played LoZ, ALttP, LA, FS and FSA yet, so I might change my mind later on.

Majora's Mask for me giting all of the masks is hard

AoL, mostly because it's not so strait forward. They give you hardly any health... Also After you beat a temple a guy just says save us!! and expects you to know everything...It's the only game where you didn't get much guidance or have a god damn fairy shoving advice up your @$$ XD Anyway Alttp was hard for me because I played it when I was a little kid. Like 6 or something and I always died...The new games like FSA WW and TP are laughable... I also hear that the original LoZ is hard... I'm getting it this Christmas and I hope the 2nd quest is all it's lived up to be... I've heard it's even harder than Aol but because I've only played aol i'm sticking with it. Btw i'm on the red sea thing*twitch*

Ya and also add in all the sidequests... Now that you think about it that game is quite hard...Imagine if they made a masterquest of it that would be hard! XD IMAGINE IF THEY MADE A MASTER QUEST FOR AOL!!!!LOL

In OoT:
The Water Temple was my most loathed part of the game. No matter how many times I'd re-play the game... I could never easily find that ONE key- that one treasure box that held that one key! I'd see it on my map, but I could never remember how to obtain it.

In MM:
Obtaining the Sun's Mask... </3

In WW:
The maze in Ganon's Tower. The 'candle hint' didn't help.

I personally thought TP was the easiest Zelda game I've played. Beautiful graphics, good game play and a solid main plot. I was disappointed in the lack of side-quests though. What was I suppose to do after beating the game? I did run around the Market as a wolf for amusement- that was it.

OoA is the only game I've yet to finish, over 2 years after buying it. I've yet to get my hands on the Mermaid Key because I have no rhythm....dang Goron dance hall....

I include MQ because some puzzles left me scratching my head a few times. In fact, I haven't finished the Fire Temple yet o_O.

The only thing that made me think of MQ being 'difficult' is when the Iron Knuckle shows up in the Fire Temple.

Even then, it was pansified. In fact, MQ was actually easier than OoT in my eyes.

AoL was the hardest, hands down. I have a friend that's made it to the final dungeon, I think.

Eh, I still enjoy the game despite it's difficulty.

After all, you have the Heart Lady and the Magic Lady to help you out... XD And Error. Can't forget Error.
