Most epic/touching Zelda moment

What was your most epic feeling moment? The most touching moment that you have expierenced during the series?
I, personally, just love the moment in MM that the four giants stop the moon. That sad song on the background...

ya that was a great moment and the song was sad hmm lets see...the most touching moment... im not sure but i like link and shieks relationship in OoT mysterious and cool. thats all ill say since i dont wanna say any spoilers...

I'd have to say in TWW when you awaken either Medli or Makar as a Sage. I can't remember exactly which one it was but the music that they played with their ancestors just reminded me of the old Hyrule under the sea and it just made me feel like I was in that room. It nearly made me cry because some memories of great things make your eyes go watery. The music was just so beautiful and reminiscent of the Hyrule beneath the waves that it was one of those great moments of gaming that has been overlooked.

Ganondorf's soliloquy at the end of tWW, pure zelda brilliance, IMO, nothing in Oot or MM can compare.

itd have to be in OoT, the scenes between link and saria. when he first leaves the forest. and when he looks at the stump where saria sat in the past and shes not there.

I would have to say the ending of OoT when Young Link speaks to Young Zelda before he leaves. That was sad. Another thing is, from MM. When Kafei & Anju reunites. That was beautiful.

For me, it was the ending of OoT. But it was the part where the camera lights on the Mater Sword in its pedastle and all I thinking was "how epic..how legendary." It gave me the shivvers. And the music was so moving.

The end of tWW, not the part with Link and Zelda, but the part where the King "dies" in old Hyrule as all the water rushes in on the castle as the great wall crash to the ground. And the part before that when Ganondorf talks about the wind carrying death, and blowing again. I almost choked up. So moving.

I agree with vacumgod. Poor poor Ganondorf. He almost seems human in that scene.

I like the whole ending of TWW, like when the king wishes on the Triforce, when Ganondorf talks about the Gerudos and his homeland, and when you shove the Master Sword through his head.

In OOT I like when you get the Master Sword.

And in MM I like when the four giants stop the moon from hitting Clocktown.

Awakening Medli as a sage (The music was awesome, and it was a good cut scene), and the ending sequence of tWW (Ganondorf's speech (both before and after puppet Ganon), the triforce wish, the battle, etc. And then the very end, after the credits).

i think that in MM i the most "epic feeling moment" was at romani ranch on the third night (if you did everything you could to help Romani and Creima) and you go to the little barn outside then you see romani all excited about finally being able to drink cheatue Romani for the first time and Creima is sad because she knows the end is nigh'. also in Creima and Romani's house are all tthe people who work at the inn and anju is crying.

Agreed. And when the screen turns sepia, and it stops with them at the first time they meet, man, that made me realize that it was over. And that made me sad.

No one yet has said how sad it was when Navi left Link. The music made me feel like I was actually there, seeing my most trusted companion leave, knowing I would never here the inspirational words "hey listen" again.

For me, it was the end of tWW...

Poor Daphnes, having to be flooded with his kingdom and all of that.
It was a great, yet sort of sad, ending...

The most touching moment would have to be after defeating the final nightmare in LA...you see how the island dissapeared as the ballad is playing...Its really kinda sad. It's sad how an island with such beauty and personality isn't even real, especially Marin.

As far as epic goes...um...I'm not sure. Pulling out the master sword on ALttP was cool, as it is in every other game with the MS...

What about the end of LoZ: Link's Awakening, when you see the whale at the end. Was it a dream or not?

The Wind Fish was real, that's for certain. It was the Wind Fish's dream.

What really provokes question is seeing Marin turn into a seagull into the real world if you beat it without dying...

To me, the most touching moment in the Zelda series was in OoT... When Link and Saria are destined to stay in different worlds despiting that they love each other...

The most epic thing for me was in tWW, when you beat Ganon. The cutscene that followed left me with my jaw nearly at my chin. What a way to beat a bad guy!

yeah, it sure was beautiful... I had to fight him twice before I really saw what Link exactly did.
