Re: The True Hardcore Zelda Fan Challenge

i don't belive that defines a hard core or die hard fan that just defines some one with too much free time. A die hard fan collects bottles and cans to get the new wii just to play Twilight princess. A die hard fan buys both versions of twilight princess because they want to. A die hard fan pays 60 bucks on ebay for the original zelda game. That is my definition of a die hard/ hardcore fan

He probably said that just to get a post, but how does this make us hardcore? I say that if you complete this, you are two things:

1. A devoted zelda fan
2. Someone that has to much time

Even though I don't see how this makes someone a hardcore fan, I'll still do it for the heck of it.

Like I care about my post count...make it zero for all I care. I was simply stating his "hardcore" test was basically beating the games, either just regularly or 100% style. I fail to see how that even comes close to anything "hardcore".

So let me get this straight you think beating every single zelda game with the checklist I've post, even the remake zelda games is no where close to hardcore?

That's right. It only shows that you have too much time on your hands and you only care about 100% completion; not the true meaning of Zelda.

Re: The True Hardcore Zelda Fan Challenge

I don't think you have to beat all of these games to be a true Hardcore Zelda fan. I never played the original Zelda games on the nes, I started with alttp. Also I never really got into the gameboy games. I still concider myself a true hardcore fan. No one love Zelda more than me.

Re: The True Hardcore Zelda Fan Challenge

In LA, you really can't have a perfect file because to get one of the photos you must steal from the shop = name change = bad run through.
I've also done just about all of those things as you can see from my sig.

Why do you need all three versions of AoL and LoZ? That's more of a feat of stupidity instead of loyalty to Zelda.

yeah I know I did the same thing but had a perfect file. It's possible. I just didn't go back to the shop. You don't really need to later on in the game.

I'm going to do that! Anyways, I've done everything on the OoT checklist except for die o times. And I've done everything on the TMC and TWW (I don't have too much time on my hands, I just dived in and out of those two when I had spare time), and most of the ALttP checklist. I really don't think doing all this classifies someone as a hardcore Zelda fan. What I see a hardcore Zelda fan as, is someone who collects all the merchandise and researches little bits of information within the games (I do this).
