I have decided to make a thread with the songs I play on it, so I don't need to have them all sitting in my siggy.... I will list all the songs here, and feel free to coment on them. If you think a particular one is bad, please let me know so I can try it again.

Also, if you would like to hear a specific song I don't have listed (there are others I know that I simply did not have time to record) please request it!

Please could you tell me where to get a Spencers Ocarina. Please tell me the website that you can purchase them from and how much they are. Did you learn to play those tunes yourself, or does it come with a music book?

Not long enough...ya, I could keep going with them, but like i said, I have a life and cant sit and record ocarina playing all day long! lol, thanks for the compliment.


O ya, if you want a spencers ocarina, search ebay...it was cheeper when I got it, now they are like $400. I got mine for half that!

Very nice, of course i never baught an ocarina cuz people would laugh at me, but you are very good! I really like the OoT lost wods played on a real ocarina.

Most are good but some are terrible.

Your ocarina can't get high or low enough on some notes, at least it sounds like it.

I was the one who reccommended this thread. Link Hero of Time has talent, lots of talent. He played those by ear on a real ocarina?

Anyhow, you should proceed to do every Zelda theme you have available to you, of course, I'm not expecting you to at all, just advice.

But you're really good, too bad you took the song of storms off.

Terrrible? He's great! What do you mean "terrible?" Ugh.

You have a great tone, you just need to work on the higher notes. I recomend using more air to get the higher notes out. (Air is usually the answer to most problems in music XD)

Another thing you need to work on is tempo. A few wrong notes here and there are fine, but you need to work with a metronome on the songs. The main problem with the tempo is the rests; you don't rest all the way, so it sounds rushed.

I love the effort you put into playing these songs. I just wanted to give you some tips to try and make it better.

Also, you can get an orcarina like that, but with fewer holes, ranging from $40 to $50 from an ad in nintendo power.

The issue with some are the environment I recorded them in. You may notice that some of the newer songs are not as "echoy". For some reason, the mic I was using made everything sound mushed and the high notes were not captured right. I recorded several new ones, and they sound better. I will try and replace all the bad sounding ones when I get the time. I do admit I rushed through some of them. I will try and fix that in my next rendition!

That ocarina is nice. Even though it's awesome, I wouldn't want a Zelda one 'cause I would be labeled as the world's biggest fanboy. However, I have one question: I am planning on buying a ten-hole ocarina similar to yours. I assume yours has a range of ten notes plus flats and sharps. This might be difficult for you to answer, but what finger positions produce what notes? If you don't feel like answering it yourself (I won't take offense), do you know where I could find out?

I cant listen to the songs yet, but if I was you, I'd be VERY pleased if i managed to learn all of those on an ocarina so yeah, well done mate...I shall listen soon and update this XD

It sounds great! I never bought the Spencer's Ocarina because it is so expensive.

i have the zelda ocarina. looks just like the ocarina of time too. great job on those songs, better than i can do. the only song i noticed a problem with was the intro to oot. theres only one note that needs to be hit higher. i don't know what kind of ocarina you have, but mine is a 6 hole ocarina and i can hit the note. took a LOT of practice to do it too. also, dragons roost is TWW not MM. keep up the good work, i'm very impressed!



my official oot ocarina only cost me $50 which came with a case and a song book containing not only a bunch of zelda songs, but a bunch of other, non-game related songs as well. i do wish it had more holes though because there are a couple songs i can't do because i simply can't hit the octive right.
