Favorite town

The number 1 reason why i am such a big Zelda-Fan is not because of the dungeons, and the items eather.. It's that living world you can walk trough.. Hours can i walk trough the towns to complete every side-quest and talk to every person i see.
Now was i wondering, what is your favorite town? Is it Clock Town, Windfall Island, Lon Lon Ranch, or maybe Hyrule castle Market.. Why you like it so much and what is your greatest experince there..Tell your story's

Re: Favorite town

Well, I'd have to say that my favourite town would have to be Hyrule Castle Town market, because it's always so lively(before Ganondorf destroys it) and it's just a fun place to be. It's a place where you can relax, and forget that you have a huge quest to do. It's also got the Back Alleys, which are a personal favourite of mine, as when you get the ocarina and before turning into adult link, you see a dying guard there!

Re: Favorite town

It's not as adult link, it's as child link, after you get the ocarina of time, but before you go to the temple of time to turn to adult link for the first time. He's just sat there, and when you talk to him he says something like "Ganondorf...he attacked...the castle..." then he dies.

I like Hyrule Castle Town Market, but Clock town is even better. Clock Town for one is bigger and there is much more to do and see and more people to meet and more side quests too. I like the Stock Pot Inn ...and the Laundry Pool is a pretty cool hang out too.
That's interesting about the 'dying guard' in the back alley, I've never seen that before either!! I'll have to check that out.

Re: Favorite town

Clock Towns i my favorite too. Its because its so big and full of side quests. The postman that runs the town, the stock pot inn, its so lively.. I do like the Hyrule Market too, but i just get bored because there's almost nothing to do..

Re: Favorite town

I don't really like Clock Town really. It's just so brightly coloured and too modern for Zelda.

Like the postal service and, i can't really describe it, it just feels too modern for Zelda. It's too brightly coloured!

Re: Favorite town

I think clock town is a little Old-Chineze. And Hyrule Market is more Fairytale.. Take the tune of the curiousty shop.. and the 2 girls dancing at west-clocktown at night. I dont like it.. If i hear the tune of Hyrule-market, i just get a smile on my face.. and i just discovered a new tune. Just stand still in Hyrule Field and you will get another tune then while your moving!!
Anyway, The reason i like Clock Town the most is because its big and it haves more side-quests. External i would choose for Hyrule Market..

I though WindFall island in The WW was pretty nice. Everything was so lively and the place was large. It had a very realistic feel to it.

Re: Favorite town

It wasn't that big an island, it's just that it was hilly, so there was more ground to put shops on. If it was a flat island, it wouldn't be very lively at all.

Re: Favorite town

I take back any harsh things I've said about Clock Twon in the past. I just picked up MM again and I'm just crazy about it. You can stalk people there. Well, you could in other LoZ games, but you wouldn't be getting anywhere. I like Stock Pot Inn and the dude trapped in the toilet! I was laughing for about 30 mins when I first saw him! Also, that Goron who got kicked out of his room becuase you talked to Anju at 1:00 PM on the first day...I almost wish you could give him the key back...poor little guy. That dog is annoying at the beginning of the game when you're a Deku, though. I died about 10 times before I figured out you could bring out that rock and block him.

So,Clock Town is my favorite. I also like Windfall, but not as much.

I like Kakariko Village. Mostly because of the chickens...but hey, I just like it.

Or maybe Clock Town, just for the toilet dude.

"Paaaapeeerrrr..."

Re: Favorite town

Saria's quite nice. And Ruto, as developed in the Crystal Trap.
Clock Town's hard to beat, though, being the most developed, largest town.
