Zelda For Playstation? Your Opinion

Way back when nintendo was going to make a deal with playstation i wonder what zelda would look like if it was on the playstation platform your opinions please nothing horibly negitive tho

Well I don't see how the graphics could get any better then they are on TP, so probably like TP's graphics, maybe a bit worse if they aren't going to put as much time into it.

Seriously... I like games because they have good gameplay. If LOZ OOT was made for playstation then I would have got it because I had PS first anyways

that is not by sony stop blaming them, sony quit from that project just as nintendo did so phillips finished it...and if there was anyone to blame for those games it was nintendo they started the bloody project.Don't flame me..

well, I wasnt really flaming you..I was directing it at this thread. Those games had nothing to do with nintendo, besides the fact that zelda was their creation.

nintendo created the characters and looks for this game...so yeah...

How dare anyone even suggest that the world's greatest gaming series be put onto one of the world's biggest waste of money! It's proposterous! If Sony ever got the rights to Zelda, I'd kill myself. REALLY.

than you're a horrible person, most of the world owns a ps2 or xbox and nintendo is just failing....nintendo could provide the game for other consoles. The problem with people is that they only buy nintendo for zelda which is stupid, you buy nintendo to play games not fregin for only zelda ya dam nutcases. Why wouldn't nintendo supply a game for playstation that is popular enough to keep nintendo alive?

Okay. Many things have been said here that needed clearing up.

Bill gates offered a lot fo money (something million, or billion) to nintendo so he could make a zelda game. Shigeru miyamoto refused.

Nintendo failing? Huh, thats why sales of the Ds are a million more than the psp worldwide. The gamecube didnt sell as good not because it was "teh kiddy" it was because it was "teh family" and because it didn't look "cool". Try remembering that when your looking for stars in mario party instead of beating up hookers in GTA.

The revolution is bound to be a hit. Plus, it will be blatantly obvious if sony copies nintendos ideas for the revolution (aka the remote thingy) This will hopefully change your perspective against nintendo.

I remeber you HisBrother, we were arguing on the Who Knows How To Read Hylian? thread. Now listen here! Most of the world eh? Most of the world doesn't have acces to, or chooses not to have, a games console of any sort. And why do you care if i don't like Playstation 2 and Xbox? Sure they've got a couple of good games on them, but take those away and they've got nothing to boast about, whereas Nintendo, you'd have to take away everything they have in order to have the same effect. I just think that the majority of people who have a games console, choose to have ps2 or xbox cos they think that graphics are the only thing that matter. And saying that Nintendo is failing is as good as blassfemy on here!

And most people don't buy a gamecube just for Zelda, they buy it because Nintendo is a great company, that constantly brings out great games and all of them are classics. Zelda is just one of hundreds of great reasons to own a gamecube. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zelda being on a Sony plattorm completely ruin the series forever. Seriously that's the stupidest idea ever. Sony are a bunch of scum-bags who in the past have stolen Nintendo's ideas, control stick, rumble pack... their only two examples. Besides Nintendo would never sell Zelda.

But ps2 and xbox didnt do this they brang out games that looked into the future or present and that is why these 2 systems were better,more played and up to date.

DS is a handheld and psp was too expensive, and the when your beating up hookers in GTA, seriously i know alot of people that just go on a killing rampage, nintendo doesnt offer you this option.The gamecube was awesome at the start but the lack of violence really destroyed it,i know im not a fan of violence but alot of games being played are violence,families are not bothered to sit down and play gamecube,they would rather go to a park and play i know my family would. DS sales are only good in some countries, you just looked at the sales in the whole world...who knows how many were sold in asia?In aus every kid wants a psp, DS really in stores has a small corner with like 20 games while if you go to psp they have over 40.I think that you should get the sales in other countries before posting "the world".

For your information, the only reason that you don't here about anything but Zelda, is because this a Zelda forum, Zelda is awesome and you're not allowed to go off topic to other games. If you check the other forum categories, you will see lots and lots of threads about completely different games!!! And if you're not completely satsfied with that, here are some noteable Nintendo games:Mario, DK, Metroid, Pikmin, Smash Bros, Banjo Kazooie, Turok, F-Zero, Fire Emblem, Pokemon.. THE LIST GOES ON!!!!!
Did you even read my post HisBrother? I clearly state that one of the only reasons that people think that ps2 and xbox are great is because of graphics, and you, it seems, are as short-sighted as the rest of them (i mean no offence to anyone who has both ninteno and sony/microsoft consoles, it's aimed at people who think that ps2 and xbox are almighty just because of a few more polygons).

The only reason that ps2 and xbox have high sales is because of those couple of good games. And (what i'm about to do is called a cruel irony!) you said that the only reason people buy GC is for Zelda. I've already proven you wrong on that, but here's my FACT: people only buy ps2 for GTA and xbox for Halo only.

You want to know why sequels take Nintendo longer? Because they put as much effort in to their games as possible, they want to create a game that thrills and entertains for years, not just something that a couple of months down the line will be ignored, much like ps2 and xbox sequels!

Nintendo has been around since the late 1800's making playing cards! They've been in the games business far longer than sony and microsoft, so ninty have better knowledge of what gamers want, and they know how to please them! Sony and microsoft are nothing but lazy bums, you're right all they do is put a few more polygons into the mechanics, add more buttons to the controller, then release it! And whilst they may make the controller slightly smaller, you need to build an extension onto your house to fit the bloody console in!!!

Oh were over the classics are we? Care to look at what website you're on? It's called ZELDA UNIVERSE!!! Zelda is 20 years old, and it's fanbase has only grown over it's amazing career. Mario is still very popular! Turok is still loved! Smash Bros are some of the best loved games ever! Pikmin never fails to please, no one is over the classics, because they are so great!!!

I would like to ask you a serious question, HisBrother. Why are you a member of the ZU forums? Because, all i've heard from you is a hatred for Zelda and Nintendo, and your thoughts on how great Sony and Microsoft are!! Uh no. No to everything you said. Most of the world couldn't even dream of getting their hands on a game console. If Nintendo made the game on other consoles then nobody would buy any of Nintedo's consoles. Also Nintendo isn't going away anytime soon. Why you would even think that I just don't know. People buy Nintendo only for zelda? No, they buy Nintendo for other games like Metroid, Mario, and so many others. And if people are buying Nintendo only for zelda than making zelda for the other consoles would be the dumbest thing they could ever do!
