Hopefully by visiting that thread, you'll know what this is basically about.
I did this months ago, and then Shiek 84 did a topic like this.
Now I've decided to do another competition for this year, which I said I'd do.

So, here is the new Records board! Including all the ones from last year, and more - which you can suggest to me! (Plus I've added some more myself)


This is the second edition of Zelda Guinness Book of Records known as 'Zelda Guinness Book Of Records. 2006'. Here you will post things you think is worthy enough to go down in the Zelda Guinness Book of Records! Such as longest playing of a Zelda game, most obbssesive moment, fastest playtime etc.
I will make a list off people who holds the highest record in that catagory. Here is the List:

Fastest time to beat a Zelda game: St. Jimmy - 3 hours, ALttP. DukeJono OoA, 5 hours 47 minuets. Zeldarkvaati -MC, 3 hours 48 minuets - not 100%



Longest playing of a Zelda game in one sitting: St. Jimmy - OoT, 12 hours.



How many times you have slashed a chicken at one time. - St. Jimmy - 2346 times



Highest Score On Horseback Archery Target Game (OOT): Mater of ALttP[/b] 1970



Fastest Tme On race around the Ranch: (OOT) HeroOfTime5 35 Seconds


Most Absolutely Perfect File On Any Zelda Game (100% completed and quickest time to finish): An Awesome Guy - Ocarina of Time, 9 hourse 13 minutes
St. Jimmy - ALttP, 12 hourse 23 minutes.



Fastest Time To Pick Up The Three Chickens At The Ranch: (OOT- Child Link) St. Jimmy - 6 seconds.



Oldest Zelda Fan: bowser77's Grandfather[/b] - passed away at 101 years of age - a Zelda fan.




Letters thrown into their compartments minigame (Wind Waker): Master of ALttP 32 Letters




Fastest time to escape from Ganons Castle: (Ocarina of Time) hesperia - 1: 56



Biggest fish caught (OoT) I, Link - 24-pounder

RULES.

1. You must read the RULES before posting a record.

2. Do NOT make up records. If you can't take a picture for proof. Say in detail of how you did it. I will take everyones word for it BUT if you do lie it is YOU who will be a LOSER! (it's the only thing I can think of to stop lying)

3. Before you announce a possible record, please say which catagoury it will be in.

4. If you are suggesting a new catagoury and it does not appear on the list. Please don't get angry with me and just suggest some more. It is up to me what catagourys are on the list.

5. Records are only to do with ZELDA GAMES.

Other rules may be added in the future.

Oh, and at the end of this thread. I will award someone with the title of 'Best Zelda Gamer in Zelda Universe - 2006.' This will be based on the person who has conquered the most/hardest records overall. Maybe someone could make a banner for them so they can put it in their sig? (like the Zelda Universe awards) PM me if you would like to please. I will put the same thread up sometime in 2007 (If I'm still here) and everything will restart and someone else will get the chance (or it could be the same person. Fight for your title!) to win 'Best Zelda gamer at Zelda Universe 2006' get it? This will be the same with Challenge thread 2006 . So try there to.

(Same as this just with all games that aren't Zelda games, and they're challenges not records. Same thing basically, though.)

And I hit orca 999 times in ww, no lies.

With orca I didn't use the parry attack, I used my sheild to block his hits

In oot, I kinda cheated, so that doesn't count

Well, I can come back with other records, but I know that somehow I beat OoT Gohma in one sword-barrage. I don't know if it was a glitch in the game or the fact that I just smashed buttons at the speed of light, but the first time I knocked her down I just kept slashing and she never got up, until eventually she was dead...

I'm not sure if I'm liking the youngest and oldest Zelda fan because... I mean, anyone could say that they're the youngest or oldest. But... whatev.

I do that all the time. I don't know how, but I beat Ghoma in about 7 seconds.

Anyway, my fastest time for beating a Zelda game was MM and it took 4 hours and 48 minutes. My fastest time for 100% complete is OOT and it took 9 hours 13 minutes.

Okay, on that Orca one, this one's worthy of it. I managed to hit Orca 997 times before he hit me once. After that, I just finished him up to 1000 hits, just 'cause I wanted to get back at him. I'm not lying, I'm that good at the game. I wasn't just using parries or the same attack, either. Pressed the attack the whole time. Oh, and on that "Fastest time beating a Zelda game" thing, you should have records up for each individual Zelda game, not all of them in general. Anyways, my best time at ALttP was about an hour forty-five, so go ahead and put that up if it's good enough. About that youngest thing, I was only about three when I got a SNES (Kinda strange, huh?) and the very first game I played was ALttP. So, therefore, I was the youngest Zelda fan.

youngest zelda fan: well i don't know if this countes but my bro was a zelda fan when he was three and all he could do was play the game and pretend he was Link, it was really anoying, and he was able to get past gohma but for the rest i had to help him, he likes epona the most cause he could jumop the gorge in gerudo valley. so if that don't count then don't mind that

oldest zelda fan: and i'm not sur if this countes either, my mother is a zelda fan, she was the person to get me into zelda, she still plays the old games and OoT and can't wait till TP. I always ask her for help on the old games.

Look at the old one. Somebody had 1500 hits on him.

I've got nothing for the books at the moment

oh yeah! I just played wind waker like an hour ago and I got 1436 hits on orca in wind waker! I am so good.
