Smile Sidequests

There are some pretty wicked sidequests in the Zelda games, but which one was your favorite? What sidequest do you look forward to doing time after time, everytime you play? I'm just asking for the favorites, I don't think anyone has any doubts about the worst one haha.

Re: Sidequests

Favourite side quest, lets see. I liked the Romani Ranch side quest in Majoras Mask to get Epona, and a couple of masks (Romani Mask, Circus Leaders Mask). It was good stopping the aliens invaiding the ranch and preventing the milk from gettting broken.

I also liked the pictograph quest in Wind Waker and finding all those Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time took forever, but it was fun finding them in all those wierd places

Re: Sidequests

I loved the side quest in MM for the couples mask (Anju and Kafei), it was probably the most in depth side quest in any of the Zelda games. While some may have had more trades or actual components to it, the couples mask side quest factored in time which was a big deal. Not only did you have to do a lot of trades, but you had to do things at certain times of it would fail and many other parts of the game needed to be completed before attemping this one. There were side quests in MM that were made specifically to lead you into the couples mask side quest.

Re: Sidequests

The Couple's Mask sidequest was my favorite because when I originally completed it I remember that I was so proud of myself because it was hard But the reward sucked because all you can get with the couple's mask is 1 piece of heart. But one good thing that came from that quest was the wear fierce diety's mask anywhere cheat.

Not sure if this really counts as a side quest but I like the WW thing on outsetisland where you had to go into that hole after moving the giant head and complete each level with diffrent enimes till you either died got to the middle(triforce chart) orgot down to the bottom twas a lot of fun.

Re: Sidequests

I liked the windwaker sidequest. I liked the plants and flags in Tww. And it was cool to put these things in windfale island.

Ha! That is easy. The Kafei and Anju side-quest in Majora's Mask. It is emotional, fun, and different at the same time.

Re: Sidequests

The Kafei-Anju sidequest is long and involving enough, spanning all three days to warrant the best sidequest for me. Its interesting to see how many characters are linked to the couple, along with the general feeling of Kafei being missing plus Sakon and the overall story is dramatic enough to keep you attached to it.

Re: Sidequests

Side Quests and Mini-Games. We've already got a thread like this, but I'll post anyway so as not to be kicked off for rent-a-modding.

I liked the figurine and kinstone sidequests in Minish Cap. They kept me occupied for a while, and that's a good thing for me who gets bored if I sit around for more than about a minute. I also thought the item trading thing in Link's Awakening was kind of cool. You had to find every character in the game and trade with them in a certain sequence or you can't beat the game.

Re: Sidequests

I'd have to say the Bomber's Notebook in general had a lot of fun sidequests. Getting all the masks and helping the various people is pretty fun.

Can't say I have. There have been some suggestions that they are Garos, given that a character mentions that his studies have told him that Garos hang around the area where you encounter them. But its pretty ambigious.

Re: Sidequests

The aliens aren't in the same are as the Garo. The aliens are at the ranch and they come to abduct the cows.
