Great stories!

Which Zelda game do you think had the best story? I think TWW becuse it actually had a great story. The other games( I havnt playd all the games :embrsd: ) wasnt so emotional. Sure they where great, but I think that tww had the best story. Tww had a big weak point and that was the triforce hunt.
Maybe i love it so becuse it was my first zeldagame, but I still think that it had the best story. NOW it is up to you!!

Majora's Mask, 3 days till the land gets destroyed, everyone panicking, in denial or having problems. Basicly troubles over all the land and very emotional stuff.

WW's story was pretty weak if you'd ask me, save your sister and end up saving the sea, end... >.> I like the game though, but MM has the best story for me.

I'm sorry guys, but I'm going to have to vote for loZ, the story was simple, vague and yet very clear. I may be reminiscing on older days, but readin the manual to LoZ sends chills down my spin, it's just so wonderful, a boy out to rescue a princess, and with no true story dialogue throughout the adventure it's really up to the player to make the story.

I must go with the majora's mask. That game was definatly the most emotional of them. It was, saving this guy and that and uniting these two and getting that and beating up a pirate to save her eggs and blah blah blah blah.... It had more emotion than all of the other zeldas combined.

Tww made ma all teary. It was the first game that I really loved. Before NGC I had PS and the games wasnt great. When link leaved his grandmother I got really emotional. Mainly becuse my grandmother and granfather passed away in the begining of the year.

I see where you're coming from. Simple, yet sufficient. You know, simple isn't really bad. I have to go with MM, though. The story was so...unZeldaish.

The OoT story was, more or less, the LoZ story with a twist.

Majora's Mask was probably one of the most emotional games in the series. The theme was very odd and the whole atmosphere was ever so quaint and mysterious, it was a definite, if a little small departue and detour from the tone of Zelda previously established. I guess I prefer the uniqueness that contributed to the story. Ocarina of Time comes as a good runner up though. The template and story overall is so basic, but so well executed that it deserves that kind of merit.

I'd have to go with MM, it's storyplot is unique among the other Zelda games and was so much more emotional than the others and basically had the darkest undertone of any other Zelda game thus far

Actually am going to show some emotion here but Majora's mask made me cry at the end because it was simply just to good to finsh. I hate and love nintendo for that fact . The story is rich and very well thought out i woul;nd't mind reading a book about it lol.

I must go with the original, and ALttP as number two. The original has a very simple, yet fascinating, storyline. And the fact that we know nothing of that era's Link's past makes it even more exciting.

ALttP introduced the Sealing War, the Golden Land/Dark World, the Ancient Hylia, etc.

And what is OoT's storyline? A rip-off of ALttP's storyline. LoZ's storyline was, at least, somewhat original. Except the hero saving the princess part.

Majora's Mask. I mean, Zelda never had an original story. It was always: villian kidnaps princess, hero saves princess, the end. Majora's Mask stuck out because it was so different. It had nothing to do with a princess. Nothing to do with the Triforce. It was Link's personal quest to find a lost friend untill Skull Kid shows up. You know the story so I won't explain the whole thing, but the whole Majora's Mask plot was brilliant and original. 3 days!

ALttP had a good storyline, It was very colorful and deep for its time. If I could see any of the 2D games be remade into a 3D game it would be this one because I consider it a classic like some others. (When I mean "remake" I mean just graphics not the main storyline, so nobody get offended please.)

Majora's Mask, easily. The 3-day time limit until Armaggedon, you could just feel the intensity of the situation. Everyone in that world reacted in some way to their impending doom, whether in acceptance or not.

The Wind Waker made me feel like I was a little kid who wanted to be like Link, but was nowhere close.

The original had almost no storyline, no linear path, no nothing except a little 8-bit swordsman running around stabbing things.

Now, ALttP actually had something there, a storyline that progressed farther and deeper as you went along. So, that's why it's on my vote.

The Wind Waker was the most emotional of Zelda games by far in my point of view. OoT made my eyes water a bit, but WW really made my cry a bit while the credits were rolling and the sad music was playing... It's always the sad music that gets me... always!

I'd have to say MM, that is the only game I can play over and over... especially the Kafei quest!! that was so cute!!! ^^ And the 3 day limit actually makes you sweat, like when youre just trying to finish a temple and stuff...
I also liked Oot... but so do most people, right? its like THE story right? I think so...
I like WW too, but not as much. I just liked Komali, when he had his flower for Medli... that was so cute!!!
