Online game: Zelda Grass!

I just got a great idea for anyone who is bored: Zelda Grass

This is a little game I have started that will continue to grow as time goes on there is no joining, no plot, and definately no point --- but it is still addicting!

Basically, you click grass or bushes and you have a chance of finding a rupee. (period)

This whole thing is session driven, so you can play as long as you want and collect as much as you want, but once you close the window there is no guarantee that your rupees will be waiting for you

Things I am going to add soon:

- Store
In the store you can get items such as the shovel or the glove so you can pick up or dig.
- Wild fires
Massive amounts of bush clearing with a chance of getting multiple rupees.

Rules:
None!

Tips:
Bushes grow back after 30 seconds. See how much you can clear before they start reappearing for a fun twist

This game is and will remain advertisment free, so you can enjoy cutting some Zelda grass with no strings attached


PS: At the time of this posting I have 39 rupees

Sounds interesting... how can you pay for it without advertisements? I might try it out...

Its mildly entertaining, especially when you have nothing better to do.

Maybe you make it a flash, because I hate how you have to load up the Map thing each time you click on a peice of grass

Flash is a definate possibility

I don't know it that well is the only problem if anyone wants to help out on this I will be happy to release the source code to the public it is only 50 or so lines of PHP right now

I personaly don't feel like I enjoyed this game, but my sister was playing it for hours last night! I suppose it has it's good points for younger children...

Well I am hoping it will be more "enjoyable" once I add the shop also if I made it flash it would probably definately be enjoyable

I will try to add some more things to it today

A nice concept, I like it and it's kinda fun when you have nothing else to do, but yes it should be a flash game. ^_^

Ok, here is the deal:
I have two options:
1. Make it flash and leave it practically unchanged, but flash.
2. Change it a LOT and make it a full blown RPG (with membership).
The latter one would require many man hours, so it would probably be a week or ten before I have it done PLUS it might have to have ads (a man's gotta eat)

What do you guys think? (it will retain the cool name Zelda Grass either way )

Defintly the second one. Who cares about flash! That sounds cool if you have the time!

Um, it doesn't work... like everything else... the grass just sits there. 3(

Before I start the RPG aspect of it (IE registering and saving and stuff) I will add the store.

Here are my thoughts for the store:

-To get to the store you must first find bombs (or maybe a key?)
-In the store you can buy bombs, keys, hammer, glove


Any other ideas are welcome

Also if you find any bugs please post them.

I changed the map a little bit too and added the walkway.

I have A idea! Why don't you put those little exploding bomb bugs like in alttp? Make it like a advanced version of minesweep! They look like blue circles with legs.
