Are you called the "Zelda Person" at school?

Hello again ZU people,

As noted by the category, this is a serious disscusion. I wanted to know if any of you people out there are recognized by the whole entire school as the "Zelda Person". And I am mainly referring to Jr. high and high school students. I am considered the "Zelda Person" at my school because I take brave steps with my fandom. I just want to know if I'm the only person willing to go in front of a crowd and express my love for LOZ. Am I the only one? Please reply.

Well i dont think this belongs here but...

Anyway I do not express my fandom anymore for fear that I be prosecuted. Most poeple at my school think that Zelda is a geeky, cliched kids game. Well they are right about the cliched part. When i said I like windwaker they said I was stupid... I think that they are ignorant and that they should be more open minded.

Eh. This isn't serious discussion.

On the subject, no. I am not known as such, nor was I in high school. Then again, I think all of 2 people were aware of the fact that I liked Zelda, and such.

I am constantly picked on and teased because I love Zelda. Plus, it doesn't help that i'm the 3rd smallest kid in High School.

Well...I've been called that, yes. I'm a freshman, but in my city junior high is 8th and 9th grades.

I do wear a lot of Zelda/Nintendo related shirts, so that could explain it.

by my friends i am. by other people i'm the big man not to mess with. funny, i'm more of a zelda guy than the other one.

No, only three people (my friends) know that I like Zelda. And they just tease me about it playfully. But, it's not like anyone else in my highschool would bother me if they knew, they're intimidated by me for some reason...

I don't know really. I don't hide that I love LoZ, but I don't go shouting it on the rooftops... (but I should do that, rooftops are fun!) My friends might think I'm a "little" weird about it sometimes. In high school I found a new friend who loves Zelda too, and we had a lot of fun. We we're also quite loud about it, talking about Zelda all the time... And at that time I also put a pretty Triforce on my bag for everyone to see, but still I heard nothing from other people. I might have been considered the Zelda Person, but no one said anything to me.

Last year I was randomly hanging out with this small group, there were 8 of us. One of them had played OoT when he was a kid, but didn't care much about LoZ. When I told him of my pretty collection of all the games I had and all that, he looked at me like I was nuts. (of course, I am nuts) And after that, he called me Zelda.
I just had fun all that time. Not everyone gets Zelda, which is too bad for them. I love LoZ, and really don't mind being considered a freak for it. Or being called Zelda, that was fun. ^^

Dude, not matter what you do or love, if you're a minority in high school, people are going to bag you for it. But you only truly lose if they make you ashamed of it, they can't do that, you can only do it to yourself. I know it sounds awfully cliche, but you have to be true to yourself

My class knows i love Zelda, I'm not too sure about others though, some know, some don't. Many know because i usually have something Zelda-ish in my DP on msn. I'm in highschool and i don't really get bagged out for that, i get bagged out for other things*cough*ifyouwannaknowPMme*cough*. People often say stupid things about Zelda and i get peed off, and i do stick up for the Zelda stuff. Then they say really dumb things like, 'Haha Zelda is a boy, haha'(dumba**'s) or stupid stuff like 'oo you love Zelda, go marry her' or really weird things like ' Go **** Zelda' I don't care when they say stuff like that, cause they're only makin fools of themselves, i just give them random replys like 'Been there, done that', and that scares em off. I am one of those 'unpopular' people, so i don't really care what people think of me that much. But yeh, i guess people do know me as the Zelda freak. 0_o

Im not much of a zelda person i like metroid better (no offense LoZ people)

I don't exactly tell everyone at work Im a bigass Zelda fan. I mostly tell people online and forums. Atleast on two of forums are am knowen as that Zelda guy. And even a few people have holded it against me mainly because most Zelda games have a rating of 12+ or 8+.

I am known as the zelda guy among the people who know me, I'm more commonly known as the DDR guy or even more commonly, the Canadian dude. (I don't know why, but people in Baton Rouge seem to be utterly fascinated that a Canadian could possibly live that far south.) I've never been made fun of for being a zelda freak and I wear zelda paraphernalia all the time and I get complemented on it. It's probably because the majority of the people at Baton Rouge High are video game fans, and the people who aren't are kind enough to not care.

zelda is my #1 fav game, followed by chrono trigger and mario
but i rarely talk about video games at college so no one knows about it
