Just wondering...

Ganon probably got an ear piercing and went on long bick rides and got drunk every night, slept around, got into bar fights, bought a cowboy hat, bought a magnum, started smoking, played some pool, slept under a pool table, purchased a computer, played Halo online, listened the Nsync and compared them to Backstreet boys, bought a pair of shoes, played some N64, upgraded his computer, got an account on Zu, stole a belt, re-tilled the roof, done the dishes, watched some TV, watched the 1st series of Lost, won a Ds, ate a PsP and he also bought Redneck Rampage, it is as plausable as anyone is going to get.

Well, as was posted before, it is different artwork. The Wind Waker wanted it to be more of a cartoony feel, so maybe the pointy ears helped the feel by saying 'Hey, look at me, I'm a huge, fat villain who kidnaps little girls!'.

Hmmm. maybe all the evil just spawned from his jealousy of Link and his cool pointy ears, so he tried to have surgery to make them more elf like, but it went a bit crap, so he is now even more angry than before!

lol no offense... but seriously, who cares? its just some diffrent art, and in the world of Zelda anything can happen! there, does that satisfy you? lol sorry, its just sort of silly when you think about how this thread is wondering why ganondorfs ears have changed.... lol c'mon now.

Have you noticed that both Link and Zelda are Hylian and Ganondorf is a Gerudo? (Well, of COURSE you noticed) Perhaps Ganon's Triforce piece made him Hylian. . . Of course, he could of wanted to pierce his ears (he got the idea from Link in OoT) but found out his earlobes were too freakin' big, so he had to slice 'em. Not only did the result make him look Hylian, but he didn't get his ears pierced either.

Gannon is also a pig in other games...
So speculate if you must... Link went from being a realistic character to a cell shadd one... does this mean the years that has passed madethe whole world blocky and pixelated? I don't think so

Wow! Good points for noticing! This seems to be proof that Ganon's body in TWW is actually a different body to the one in Oot? Could it be that he escaped the sages seal by abandoning his body trapped in the sacred realm, then was reborn up on the great sea? Then when Link unlocked the seal by removing the sword, he was able to access the power of the gods again.

Maybe he just got angry at a flock of ducks and tried to kill them but they pulled his ears and dropped him in the Forbidden Fortress and when he looked in a mirror he had pointy ears. Then he fused with a monkey and became the mighty GANON instead of GANONDORF!
