Cool Halloween idea for Zelda fans!

I thought of this last year for Halloween...

For this, you'll need an MP3 player and some portable speakers, and some Jack-o-lanterns. Set them up so that the speakers are hidden inside the Jack-O-Lanterns, and attach the speakers to your MP3 player. Have the MP3 player set to go through a playlist of some creepy Zelda songs, and you've got the perfect atmospheric effects for your front door on haloween!

I recommend the following songs for the spooky playlist:
-Forest Temple from OOT
-Shadow Temple from OOT
-Royal Family's Tomb from OOT
-Ganon's Tower from OOT or Wind Waker
-Earth Temple from Wind Waker
-Tower of the Gods from Wind Waker

Hmm, That's an interesting idea. I have something that isn't spooky but my friends told me I should do it. First, put a bowl of candy out on the porch with a boombox hidden behind it. Then, when someone takes candy, using a remote, play the Zelda "got item" music. It might get repetitive but with your idea it will be like a zelda dungeon.

Well, for my pumpkin I will put a walkie talkie in it and talk through the other.

Aww...You guys have such fun in haloween. See in Australia (i said this in another post) i try my very hardest at haloween. But what do i get!?!?! "no we don't beleive in american culture" or "Who the bloody hell do you think you are coming up here scarying my children F*#$ off!" And i run away dodging the stones getting thrown at me. Or i get Ginger....YAY! (sarcasim, grrr)

In general Australia doesn't believe in American Culture and fokelore. I'd have to say you must look pretty stupid going around asking for candy.

If you ask for candys here in greece they will say:What is halloween?I know what it is!

Man, you guys can't get free candy. Or, you could play spooky special effects music with your MP3 player.

Acually, holloween isn't really an American custum..it just developed into one...I remember it came from another country, but I don't remember where. Old Hollow's Eve.

hehe, I'm part Australian...when I visited there in October one time, I tried that...but I didn't get any rocks thrown at me, I just had a lot of angry people...lol

Actually, I think it originated in Ireland. At least, that's where the Jack 'o Lanterns came from. Also, find a way you can play a ReDead's scream. That would scare the heck out of most trick-or-treaters.

Those are some cool ideas. I think the Ikana valley song would work well too.

Here's one. Get some marshmellows, some writing icing (small, colourful tubes), and paint faces of various Zelda people on them. Then, you can either give them to the kiddies, or scoff them yourself!

It was somewhat started in and aound Mexico as the day of the dead. Also great idea! If only I had an MP3 player...oh well..

Cosplaying as Ganondorf or Vaati to go trick-or-treating would also work...

Hehe, that sounds funny! Not Zelda related, but I think it would be cool to have some guy dress up in a realistic Darth Vader costume and get one of those lightsaber replicas and have several other guys dressed up as stormtroopers with blasters. Then when they go to a house, they all point their blasters at the door. So funny!
