Most mysterious race?

Which race do you think is the most mysterious. I think it has to be the shiek because we hardly know any thing about them. Theres also only 2 shieks that we know of in the game.

I think it is the Rito, the Shieks, at least we know about them b/c we do have 2 left, but the Ritos just appeared out of nowhere (some people belive they were the evolved Zoras, which if you think about it, doesn't really make sense). I mean in 100 years, how did a new tribe just appear, they seem to have no realations with any tribe in OoT, MM, or any other Zelda game. Maybe TP will clear this up for us, but for now, I'm thining Ritos.

Don't you mean the 'Shiekah'? Shiek was a person...sort of. But yes I do agree that they are the most mysterious race in Zelda since there are not many remaining and the ones that are don't reveal much about the race apart from them serving the royal family.

Aye, Skiekah do indeed seem like the most mysterious race. All we know about them is that they make ideal body guards for the Royal Family.

Ha, ha, you posting from school too, pliio8? Yeah, I just found how to get in here from school. I think that the Shiekah are the most mysterious race. Very little is told about them in the few games they are mentioned. (are they mentioned in any game other than OoT?) Their symbol has popped up all over the place, from Agahnim's cloak in ALttP to Ganondorf's wooden house? in TWW. The Rito aren't that mysterious. Apparently the Zoras are fresh water creatures, except for the Terminanian Zoras. When Hyrule flooded, there was either too much water for the Zora's or it was all salt water. Thus, the Zoras would have had to find another means of getting around.

I think the Sheikah. Their sign is very mysterious, and we, the players, don't get to learn a lot of them in the Zelda games. By the way, it's Sheikah, not Shiekah. It's pronounced Shiekah, yes, but you write it as Sheikah.

Minish are most mysterious. Simply because they took place in that legend in tMC, but we don't know about that legend. Also, the Minish are mini and hidden from humans so to humans they are a mystery.

It has got to be the Sheiks...I mean the way they act, all of those wise lines they come up with, the whole Deku Nut/vanishing into thin air trick is really cool. It would be good if Nintendo like published a book explaining the ways of the Sheikah, but then there would be some MASSIVE cult devoted to them heh.

yup the shekiahs are most defenetly the most mysterious race that ever existed in Hyrule.
The way i think of it is: shekiahs were the gypsies of hyrule; they could see supernatural things and have the ability to read minds, and in another way they are the ninjas of Hyrule; performence shown in ocarina of time, and super smash bros. melee. They move fast and move in a stealthy slick kind of way, and also had the ability to teleport, the only problem is that zelda in general dont talk much about them, the biggest imfo on them i picked up was in ocarina of time with the old wizard looking guy that is always walking around in the market when he used to talk about the"shadow folks" but yeah they are the most mysterious.

The Shiekah. Their backstory and history is only vaugely mentioned and explained at points although it seems intergal to the plot regardless. How exactly they function is still a mystery and we've really been only exposed to two characters that belong to said race. Their nature has always been secretive and discreet, at least from the standpoint we can view from and ultimately, they are the most mysterious because of the lack of emphasis, although they always seem to tease us with hints about their culture.

Defidently the Sheikahs. They're atcually supposed to be mysterious because they are shadow folk.

I picked Shieks cause you barley see them and they have masks. At least I think so.

I think we could only assume. We've really only known Impa to be a member of their race, granted that they are on the verge of extinction. Sheik has always been contested for the title since people disclaim him to be a character in entireity. Others argue that he is and Zelda took the form of an actual person or something.

I think the zoras are the most mystial, they live in a water fortress and you have to have a certain song to even find the place.

Kokiris most of the other races we know alot about buy the Kokiris we dont well i dont and ive played most games.

The way they dont age and just stay in one place of the forest most of time hmm

It's the Shiekahs because although we know almost nothing about the Kokiri, we know even less about the Shiekahs.

I think the Skullkids, but you didn't put them on the list. So then Shiekahs, I would like to see them discussed in future Zelda's.

the minish of course, the shiekah are your cliche run of the mill shadow folk, so f- em'

For some reason the Minish were given the responsibility of giving the hero of men a special sword, the picori sword. With that sword the HOM was able to smite all evil and restore peace and properity to hyrule.
And well, the minish are plain cooky. They are cute little creatures who have managed to live all across hyrule, practicallly ruling it.
the Gods like the minish alot apparently, and I really want to know why.
