How many of you feel ofended when someone talks negative about link?

I dont know about you, but when someone is talking crap about Link, it get's me pissed. People that know me, know they can't talk smack about Link. You may think i have no life, but Link and The legend of zelda games in general, is what makes me the person i am today, and i think that if you know how to annoy people by making fun or dissing their likes, dont annoy me, because you'll get knocked out.

Yeah, that annoys me too, but I don't make a big deal about it, I just diss one of their likes.

Yeah. I get really pissed. Although sometimes people do it just to see me get mad. So I don't ALWAYS get really angry.

Well, I don't really care so long their view is justified with enough base and facts to support it.

Well I get the impression from most people that Link isn't a great charchter. But truthfully, most of them have never even played Zelda, just Halo. So that gives me some time to mock Halo 2. But don't get me wrong, Halo was a pretty good game! Halo 2 on the other hand was over-rated.

I really tend not to care what people think, I like the games and if they are not a fan of him or the game, well that is less people I have to worry about when it comes to finding a new release.

Yeah, it bugs me. Especially with my friends over right now, PS2ers, they saw me stuck in "Ancient Castle of Ikana" in MM, and started messing right off the bat.

But people who talk bad about Zelda and haven't even played it? now that's dumb.
But yeah, I get really mad even to my friends if they talk bad about my favorite game in the world. yeah, I tend to get really worked up.
Yeah, I totally agree with Teleice. Wind Waker is the only Zelda game I have and when someone talks badly about it....ooooo boy, they're in trouble.

Simple. Why would I get pissed over another's opinions? Live with it if it bothers you that much. Or, if you really can't ignore it, defend yourself by shooting down their likes. Simple as that.

Atually I dont really care. I mean Link is annoying sometimes and everyone has the right to say their opinion. I just feel a little bad when my friends talk crap about the game when they dont even know anything about it. All they do is spend their time shopping and talking on the phone. (I do that to tho)

If someone says they don't like Zelda, and have played it, then I'll respect their opinion. At least they tried the game first. But if someone says they don't like Zelda, and make fun of it, and haven't played it, then that's when I get a little mad. You can't judge a book by it's cover, just like you can't judge a game by it's graphics (or something like that).

Why would I care what they say about a computer game. Anyway I don't care if they bag Link out his a bum, I just care if they offend me while teasing the game.

Today someone noticed me playing ALttP on my SP before school. He seemed to chuckle as he said "Zelda?" It just makes me so mad that people don't know a good classic game when they see one. All they're interested in is their next-gen systems and state-of-the-art graphics. As soon as a game or system becomes obsolete, they stop playing it. All because they don't want to be seen playing something old or outdated. Sure, it does look a bit odd to play LoZ on the GameCube, but if the game isn't that old, then why do they stop playing it?

I do not get offended, it's not my problem. Link is overrated anyway.
