Tingle haters

Why does everyone hate tingle so much? I mean he didnt do anything bad that would offend you??? Yes he took your rupees but so what, what are you going to use the rupees for that you cannt find in the grass? My point is that why do people hate him so much for doing nothing?

Exactly, he did nothing. XD There is just something I don't like about him. I don't hate, just don't really like. He is helpful in some ways yeah. Maybe it is the fact that he is so old and thinks he is a fairy. Someone has prooooblems. XD

Because every character in Zelda before Tingle came along was actually normal. People hate Tingle so much because he is so stupid. A 35 year old man who thinks he is a faerie and runs around in green spandex all over his body with red underwear on the outside has very questionable intelligence. And it also looks like he has been beaten up for this, as his face looks very screwed up. In The Wind Waker, he has his eyes closed all the time, it's a wonder he could see, and he has that stupid little beauty mark thing. In Four Swords Adventures, he tried taking your Force Gems, although it was funny to attack him and watch him try to take that huge Force Gem in Hyrule Field. But the reason is that he is of questionable intelligence and he is annoying. But... if he could make a personal hot air baloon, then he has to have some brains in that screwed up head of his.

Have you ever heard of dont judge a book by its cover plus that is a childish reason to hate him.

Well most people like me don't like seeing 35 yr old men in tight green latec suit even if he isn't real your imagination can do the rest

I like Tingle and dosn't affect the story much, except WW but he was trying to make a living, look where he lives.

Right, fellow Master. All it takes is a questionable thought and then you have got a bad mental image. Besides, I didn't say that that was why I don't like him, those were just some ideas I had about why others did not like him. I just don't like how he thinks he is a fairy at 35 years old.

People expect more maturity out of a zelda game seeing as the majority of zelda fans are older. Tingle suffers in popularity for the same reason that Jar Jar binks does. He's just plane annoying, and he never grows.

Yes, he's like Jar Jar Binks. He has an annoying voice. That's it. That's why I don't like him much.

He's a helluva better comic releif than Jar Jar, in my opinion. It's not as he ruined the plot to the extent Jar Jar did. But Tingle is actually kind of interesting, even a fun character. I can see how he might be a little annoying, maybe scary-- but the hate directed towards him is the stupid part of the matter. I mean, you have people crying because he got his spinoff. Really.

Yes, he does. In Majora's Mask he goes "Ning ning" and "Kooooliiiimpah!" In FSA he goes "Uuunnnggghhh". In The Wind Waker he goes "Lock! Loook! Koolimpah!" So, yes, he does talk.

I can never say that I really hate him, but there is nothing he dose for me to like him either, in some ways I guess he can be anoying. I think people say they hate him becuase there is nothing to like.

Tingle reminds me of Imakuni? from Pokemon. Infact I think they're based off the same person, either that or it's some sortof Japanease tradition to have a Pee Wee Herman..

I don't hate him. It's just that he's a loser in all social standards. I find it quite fun to pick on him and poke at his title of fairy. But other than that he's okay (as long as he doesn't play any major roles).

I never knew that anyone hated TIngle! He's a funny looking guy that adds a little humor in a game that requires full attention and concentraition.

I don't really hate Tingle. He just looks really ugly. In MM, he looked so ugly I almost mistakened him for a doll tied to a huge apple. He looked a little better in WW but he was too fat. Finally, I just didn't like his attitude in FSA. I think it would be intersting if he reappered in TP. Let's just hope he'll act more mature.

But that's why he's so cool! You can't get any cooler than wearing your undies on the outside. He can prance around in a bizzare suit and say weird things without caring what anyone thought of him.

A true example of being yourself, if I do say so myself.

But gosh, can't you guys realize the kind of character value we can have from him?
