Create an aspect of a Zelda Game!
Because this just has to do with Zelda in general, I posted it here. The purpose of this thread is to let the ideas that are bubbling in those Zelda-fan minds of yours for new and/or improved game aspects, such as new items, weapons, enemies, dungeons, etc. can be shown to the Zelda community. What you post can be either new item/weapon, an upgrade to an exsisting item, a new enemy, a new dungeon, a new side quest, a new race, and/or anything else that can be used in future zelda games/fan-games. When posting, state wheather or not any of the people that are making fan-games can use them in there games. Here are the rules:

Grappling Hookshot
an upgrade to the Hookshot. Fire the hookshot an any attaching spot (like a hookshot target or a scarecrow for example). If the attaching spot is only halfway across a long gap, press the assigned button again to lock the Grappling Hookshot's chain in place. Link can then swing along on the shain, ala the Grappling hook in Wind Waker. Hold R while the chain is locked to stop swinging and hang in place. while like this, you can press up or down on the control stick to extend or retract the chain to change altitude. so basically, it's the Hookshot/Longshot combined with the Grappling Hook, accessed by locking the chain. |

Hey I have an idea!
Sawshot:An upgrade to Longshot. Looks like a red Hookshot with a spinning sawblade on the end. It would fly through the air like the boomerang and latch on to wood like a Hookshot, but you could leave it in the handle and swing it like a sword aka Hold down button to extend. |

Good idea KingSkullkid! Here is another one:
Bolas Basically three balls tied together in a way that allows one to throw them at an enemy and bind their legs. If you can imagine a triangle, the balls are the corners, and the rope goes to the center from each ball. If used with a length of rope attached to the center, then it can be used to do things like pull levers towards you, something that you can't do with the boomerang. |

Fire/Ice Ring. A remake of the fire and ice rod. Shoots out a blast of fire or ice, like what Twinrova does. Good against Lizafoes and Dinofoes.

- Basic feature is that it shoots the beams like in A Link to the Past when you had all your health. I'd like to see it in three dimensional form. Always a pleasure to shoot beams from swords anyway. That stuff was the shizz, really. But yeah, I guess it's kind of a novelty that may wear thin. But nevevertheless, it'd be quite interesting. |

This really isn't new or anything, but it would be cool if Link could duel-wield. Hot. Or sticky deku nuts that explode on contact. Or maybe poisoned arrows that slow down your enemy and take energy from them...

My latest ideas:
Longbow An upgrade to the Bow, it allows Link to shoot father than before. Also, it allows him to make stronger up close attacks with his bow. Wings of Flight The Wings of Flight allow Link to fly for short periods of time, as long as his magic meter holds out. The Wings look like orange glowing dragonfly wings. |

Alrighty then. How about this...
the Ballistic Bow Like the Hero's bow, you can fire an arrow at an opponent, but then you can lock on to several other enemies. This makes the arrow fly through your first selected enemy to hit the other enemies you've targeted in your selected order; similar to the Magical Boomerang from tWW, but it kills your enemy rather than stuns them.

The Double-Bladed Sword:
It's function is though not being the strongest sword in the game. Has a decent reach and strikes from both north and south points of Link. Allowing brutes stupid enough to come from behind Link to be iviscerated.. As a whirlwind attack it works even better then a regular sword because of it's farther reach. |

i reakon he could use a weapon that shoots out little blades like ninja stars kind of, its shaped like the hook shot but it latches onto your arm, you swing your arm and it shoots, but you can also use it to shoot up to five blades at a time*requires blades, bought from the bazarr, 20 rupees for ten*

Sounds like a cool idea to me.
Here an idea: BombKu: Upgrade to bomb. You would throw it and it would latch onto an object/enemy. Then you would have a second to get away before it explodes. |

Even better then my last idea..
Buckler: Function: Works like a regular shield, but can also damage opponents by you walking into them and the spike penetrating them. I would've called it a spiked shield, but buckler sounds way cooler.. |

Got a few-
RAPID CROSSBOW- fires 4 arrows rapidly, then needs about a second to re-load before it fires another round. FRONTIER GUIDE- A book where various information about enemies you encounter, places to go to, certain items you find, etc. are recorded. (Enemies are added to your Guide when you lock on to them.) Think of it as a Navi you can acess only when you want to, without the constant "Hey look listen". by the way... Quote:
