Least fave Zelda game?

Personally, mine is most definatley Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link, the original beat it so many ways, the side scrolling battles were awful, and I found it nowhere near as interesting as the original, it was the only game on LOZ: Collector's Edition I couldn't stand

I also didn't like Zelda 2, I think the first was way way better than it. I didn't like how it was like an rpg, I don't like the fact of having to raise your attack points and stuff. We have final fantasy for that.

i personnally dont like ocarina of time it wasnt fun for me there was no variantion in game play it was just: do a dungeon do next dungeon over and over again the travialling was tedious and there werent many side quests it just felt boring to me all the way through if they remade a special addion with more side quests better graphics and make it more fun it would "rox meh sox" i like the story and all just not the way its presented... i think it would have made a better 2d game.

I played LOZ and thought it was the worst game I ever played. Then I played AoL and I realized that it was an amazing game. AoL was the worst game I ever played.

I've only played about 5 mins maximum of the NES Zelda games, so it wouldn't be fair to count them.

So for me I'd go with Majora's Mask. I know heaps of peeps love it, and I really tried, but failed miserably. Pretty much the core elements from Ocarina of Time weren't present in Majora's Mask. The biggest of these was the sense of freedom, which was taken away by the three day system and not being able to save whenever you wanted. OoT is up the top there because you could pretty much do whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. The other was story. Sure Zelda games are hardly story driven in terms of tonnes of dialogue and stuff, it was more the mood and the feeling you got from actually playing that set the scene. OoT had this huge sense of good versus evil on an incredibly epic scale. Majora's Mask was... a mask. Bringing down a moon which had little children running around it. And lastly, the overworld was really small and didn't have that feeling of openness.

I know many of you will want to debate the fact, but I don't think anything will change my mind. I actually thought the game was great in itself... but for Zelda, it was my least favourite.

Same as Oldbeane for me. I haven't gotten a ton of expirience with AoL... but what expirience I do have, I did not enjoy at all. So, to that end... AoL is my least favorite Zelda game. Tadah.

Why is Wind Waker not on this list? It's hardly an obscure game.

Wind Waker is my most hated Zelda game. I had the game spoiled for me when my friend made me watch him play it over and over and over... When I eventually bought the game myself, I didn't feel the sense of freedom and adventure I was supposed to. I just felt it was a load of illogical hand holding dog dribble.

I disagree with you about WW thoughm it's my 2nd fave Zelda game besides Link To The Past

I personally hated OOA/OOS...

It just seem like a rehash of LA DX. Two versions of rehashs...

I chose the Ages/Seasons one. It's my least favourite because Nintendo brought out two games pretty much alike to each other apart from some different powers and differences in the lands due to the seasons and ages mix.

Don't get me wrong, they are very good games, they just wouldn't be my first choice if those games were laid out in front of me.

Hey, I hate to disagree with you since you've done so much for me, but saying Wind Waker is your most hated game is an insult to me. :mad:
I personally don't like the legend of zelda, the one that is least animated, the one with the most horrible graphics. WW has really great graphics.

Personally, there is no Zelda game that is below expectations in my book. I used to think AOL was the worst, but I forced myself to play, and it wasn't half bad. Sure, it was super challenging, but the fact that you levelled up was pretty fun. My only complaint is that when you died, you lost all experience that hadn't accumulated into a new level.

Eck...the CDi games are all my least favorite, do i really need to explain why? But other than them i would have to say Zelda II, because its gameplay was unlike the first, and it was to RPGish. I just can tbelieve any one could call Zelda II thier favorite game.

My least favorite game used to be Zelda II, but it's now Four Swords. I can't even play it because you need at least two GBAs and a friend. Four GBAs if you want to play to the fullest potential.

I'm not saying it's a bad game. All I'm saying that the game was spoiled for me and, as a result, I did not enjoy playing it.

But I'll forgive ya. Maybe

I voted for the Oracles. They are nice games but I could never seem to get hooked like I do with most other Zelda games. I've even gone back to try again but I still can't get into them.
