Could Animation Magic Strike Again?
Honestly I'm not sure of what the contract was or anything, but do Philips have any residual rights to the Zelda series?
Is it at all feasible that, were they ever to attempt to break into the market, as Sony did, that they could produce Zelda games for their machine?

No, Phillips had a contract for the original CD-i games, but the contract ended after the flops.
