Best Zelda Moments!

If you have ever had an embarasing Zelda moment (like taking 60 times to defeat a boss or not solving a so-obvious puzzle), post here!

My "moment" was Onox in OoS. Whenever he put the crystalized Din aroud him, I didn't know what to do. I just took my Roc's cape and continually charged him. I was still doing that 20 lives later. It took me awhile to figure it out. :embrsd:

My number of deaths and time it took to finish ALTTP.Don't laugh now, Deaths:367, time:3 years.
It was sooooo embarrasing.My mate died 100 first time.My embarrasing fight was with ganondorf in OoT.Why did i stay on the middle platform under him?I was batted and i kept doing that till i found the other platforms on the side.

Bong Bong in OOT took me like 10 goes i didnt know to use the lens of truth LoL i was like OMG this boss is im possible and swearin at the TV this was wehn i was like 9 back in 98.

And last week when it took me a full hour to complete the Goron Race in MM argh that made me curse like mad.

I never beat AlttP. I was like 8 and I didn't get past the fifth dungeon in the dark world.

The first time I beat Link's Awakening, I had over 150 deaths on the file. I started a new game though, and was able to beat it again - this time with an 000 finish.

Also on Majora's Mask - I never knew about dancing with the scarecrow or listening to stories from the grandmother to pass time. While waiting for the Night of the Final day on the first 3-day cycle, I just left the game running while the timer slowly went on (and hoped it didn't freeze - was playing the GCN version)

Mine was you know in the water temple were you go to the boss up the slope with the spikes. Well I tried everything to get up and all you had to do was walk up.

My most embaressing moment was in WW. In the Tower of the Gods, when you're trying to get the third little statue guy, I couldn't figure out how to get to him. I tried calling him, I tried the Command Melody, I even tried crawling under the beams. When I finally found out that you can use the Deku Leaf to get over, I hit my self of the head a few times.

My other stupid moment was in OoT, in the Water Temple. I had already lowered the water level and gotten through until you raise the level all the way, and then I realized that I had forgotten a key on the second level! Ahh! So I had to go and do all the water leveling stuff all over again.

I'm not sure i had a most embarrassing moment... Well, it took me four days to complete the water temple the first time, usually only takes me one or two.

Beating Aghanium in OOS and also that Tower of Gods puzzle faylinn mentioned I kept on trying to push the block untill I my nine year old sister asked what the Deku Leaf did and I told her it's used to fly over obstacles. Then she said why don't you use it over those beams?

LOL this brings back memories... after finishing both OOS and OOA i was up to the part where you have to fight twinrova, there was one bit during the fight and no matter what i did nothing happened... after about 100 tries i gave up.
about 2 months later i went to some site to find out what i had to do turns out you fire some stupid bean at her like 3 times and she dies!
i mean honestly why would you shoot a bean at the boss of a game i mean come on!

My moment was in MM. I got to the top of stone tower and before I activated the owl statue I managed to fall off :embrsd: .

It took me forever to get the Iron Boots in WW. First of all, I couldn't even find Ice Ring Isle...When I finally did, it took me like four tries to get them..

In MM, when you have to walk over to the floating isle near goron villiage, I always used to fall, even if I had the lens on.

in tWW.... I took me twice to beat the boss in the first temple =P

Hit the tree in Kakariko Village 14 times with your sword. Next, throw a bomb at it and it will explode. Go down into the grove where the tree was and turn left. You will find an M-16 Machine Gun there.

I remember when I was young and I played the original LoZ. I got to the Dodongos and no matter how much I slashed at them, they never died...

The EXACT same thing happened to me. I was like. "WHAT?!?! THATS IT?!?!" and the annoying buzzing didnt help my mood when I couldnt figure that out.

oh, AND in WW the first boss, after you crack his shell, I had no idea what to do. I thought I had to start over again and that I had done something wrong by cracking his shell. then I watche
