Link in Dynasty Warriors?

OK so think about it it could work, just think of it like Link being in Soul Caliber II, that worked and hasn't made the Zelda series a joke. Also this one make's alot more sense. Come on what other game series is doing a spin attack the as useful as DW and that's Link's favourite move.

So what do you think?

The concept is neat, but I just don't see it happening.

Link would never be in Dynasty Warriors because Dynasty Warriors is based off of actual Japanese history and Link is completely fictional.

Well my point was the battles took place in real life so Link wouldn't be in there.

A lot of people don't. Mainly because there's actually very little similarity. And yes, Dynasty Warriors is based on the Chinese historic novel "Romance of Three Kingdoms". However the game doesn't stay exactly true to it anyway...

Dynasty Warriors was fun the first two times, after that it was beaten to a bloody pulp. We don't need any more Dynasty Warriors, especially not with Link. A white kid in white tights and a green tunic running around with all these well battle adorned chinese people wouldn't look to good.

And how you mix up Japanese with Chinese baffles the mind of man.

It doesn't matter what the difference between Chinese and Japanese is.
I made my point when I said that the battles were actual historical battles.
And I only got Chinese and Japanese mixed up because I was too lazy to go pick up and look at the back of my copy of Dynasty Warriors to see if those were Chinese or Japanese battles.

Ok I get what you guys are saying but it's a game and thay don't have to make sense, I just think that it would be fun that's all.

And they do need a gimmick or something to get ppl back into the game. So if he was the last character that you get it could work, just like mario in NBA Street V3.

Dynasty warriors is about the real past.
It's ok to have Mario in NBA Street V3 because it's perfectly possible for a midget wearing a Mario suit to play basketball. People in the time that Dynasty Warriors takes place in were more serious and wouldn't dress up in weird clothes with a funny hat and fight.

Actually, Dynasty Warriors makes it very clear that it takes place in China. I'd have to say its blatant screaming it all over(the map should've been a give away, not to mention the whole background story they give you).

DW has its share of quirks and does bend history at one point. Namely, incoporating two Chinese mythological beings in it. I think one was called Wu Xia, or such, am I correct? But those things are rather diffrent in entireties. Soul Calbiur is a licensed word that allows stuff like that -- as are Zelda, which includes the infamous Mario cameos. But I don't think you could do that with a historical game like DW.

an historical game such as DW, I don't think they would allow it,
like Soul Calbiur, they have licences to do that, as Garidan stated up above....
ut I don't see it happening.
