Zelda Movie

If Nintendo refuses to make the movie, it's probably for a good reason. Maybe they don't like a script that doesn't revolve around several different temples. If the movie is too different from the game, people won't like it.

That's untrue. Zelda came out in 1985, Legend in 1986. So unless Miyamoto is a time-traveller...

Miyamoto has said before, the inspiration for Zelda was from his boyhood, and his fear of going into a cave near his home.

CG= Better Fight scenes. Just look at FFVII: Advent Children.

However, as cool as a full cgi zelda movie would be, i'm a big fan of traditional animation. I'd welcome a zelda anime, prefferably a series, not a movie.

i would like an anime movie, and Clamp could make the character designs. That would be cool!

Well, I would go with real acting, but in return, put a Lord of the Rings touch to it.

Defineatly CG, live acting would be weird. Just as Live acting would b weird in Advant Children. I would really like a CG movie that I could b proud to watch (not that crappy Spirits Within one that almost killed FF)

It should be computer generated and Nintendo should let Industrial Light and Magic create the graphics. The reason I say ILaM should do it , is because they did such a good job with Star Wars Epi. III.

Hmmm...I think it would work best as Computer-animated.

If it was Live action, it would be cool, too, but choosing the actors would be tough.
That reminds me. Anyone else notice that Jerri Ryan (aka seven of nine from star trek voyager) looks exactly like impa? Also, that blond guy from Seventh Heaven really looks like Link. And this is just a stretch, but that one wrestler guy from "Scorpion King" just screams "Ganondorf".

Computer animated, definetly. We all have our own imaginations of how links or anyones face looks like...i mean in detail. But have any of you seen final fantasy (not the game...the movie (the game kinda sucked and would never beat zelda)) but they did a great job of computer animated. And for once...i actually enjoyed final fantasy.

I think computer animation would be better too, acters just wouldent capture the ledgend of zelda we know and love.

I think if it was done properly, they could make a really amazing Zelda movie in real life. But no star actors. They need to find a Link and Zelda that look like their OoT characters. A young boy and girl.

The special effects would be awesome as well. I would LOVE to see the live interpretation of Zelda. Awesome... I would not even watch an ANime but then again I hate Anime *ducks from Anime nerds*

Yeah, I agree with you.
No star actors and done properly.
And special effects are a must.
now don't get me wrong I don't want to let Link shoot lightning or something, but Ganondorf can shoot magic-balls and an enemy as Volvagia need to have an awesome fire-attack ofcourse.
But how to do it properly without losing the Zelda-magic?
How can you make a film of OOT if you need to film all the dungeons? it would get kinda boring if you ask me. So that's something that should be looked at.
And it will probally not fit in 1 movie. So they probally have to make 3 of it. (maybe 2)
But if you make more than 1 movie then you'll have to make sure that succes is guranteed.
Anyways, you also got the music which shouldn't be a problem.

I think a movie based on TWW would be a good choice. It's more event-driven than OoT. The dungeons in TWW aren't about finding sages and collecting medallions. They have a variety of objectives and settings (not all "temples"...).

Anyway, Jeri Ryan...sort of(she dosen't always look like that). Just give a woman the trademark short haircut. And make her look austere all the time.

Yeah, thats loz best bet. The Wind Waker has an awesome story to it and oot...its too long of a game (but ts my fav). But, if its real, it would be the crappiest movie cuz who looks exactly like link?! Uhh..NO ONE IVE EVER SEEN!! It would be such a dumb movie with real ppl in it. Anime is a heck of a lot better...

I'd prefer an anime, but if I had to choose between real people or CG, I'd definatley say CG.
