Timeline
I'm probably sure this has been done before, and if there is a rule or somthing against this, shut it off. I'm just asking what your timeline theore is 'cuz it might influense my view of the uni... ahem, zelda universe. This is mine: (Notes: I beleve the goddesses reincarnated them, FS trilogy L&Z in order: X XX XXX)
Game Reason Four Swords as This (I think) is the game the FSA was refering to- could be before or after OoT. Link and Zelda X Orciana of Time The story in so many games and a doesn't refer to any other. Majora's Mask Known as direct sequal to OoT. Link and Zelda I/II Twilight Princess They say it's 20 years after OoT Link and Zelda II/III Four Swords Adventures Actually, FS, FSA, and MC are random placed. Link and Zelda XX Minish Cap (see ^) Link and Zelda XXX Wind Waker Ganondorf. Plain and simple. Link and Tetra III/IV Link to the Past Stil survied has the Legend done. Oracal of Ages Whole Triforce Oracal of Seasons (see ^) Link's Awkening Mentions a link (Ha!) Link and Zelda IV/V Legend of Zelda Seems to be late, I guesse Link's Adventure (see ^) Link and Zelda V/VI Thanks for reading.

Re: Timeline
I have a multiple timeline theory here.
TMC - Link 1 and zelda 1 Timeline splits in OOT Adult timeline OOT - Link 2 and Zelda 2 TP - Link 3 and Zelda 3 TWW - Link 4 and Zelda 4 Child timeline MM - Link 2 and Zelda 2 FS - Link 3 and Zelda 3 (not the same 3 from the adult timeline) FSA - Link 3 and Zelda 3 (not the same 3 from the adult timeline) ALTTP - Link 4 and Zelda 4 (not the same 4 from the adult timeline) OOS - Link 5 and Zelda 5 OOA - Link 5 and Zelda 5 LOZ - Link 6 and Zelda 6 AOL - Link 6 and Zelda 5 (ancient sleeping princess may be Zelda 5 but not definately, 5 is used to show that she is not Zelda 6)

Re: Timeline
I follow the multi-timeline theory. Here's my timeline.
OoT --------Alternate Future-------- TWW -- Twilight Princess MM TMC ALttP LA FS FSA LoZ AoL OoS OoA OoT: Takes place a few years after The Fierce Wars. Link begins his quest to stop Ganondorf from entering the Sacred Realm. He gets the three Spiritual Stones and then retrieves the Master Sword. His spirit is sealed away for seven years, otherwise his sleeping state. Ganondorf steals the Triforce and it splits into three, Power going to Ganondorf, Wisdom to Zelda, and Courage to Link. Ganondorf conquers Hyrule. Link wakes up and awakens the five sages and gets their medallions. He then goes to Ganon’s Castle. In their climactic duel, Link defeats Ganondorf, but then fights Ganon after escaping from the collapsing tower with Zelda. He defeats Ganon, and the Seven Sages lock Ganon away in the Sacred Realm. Zelda sends Link back in time to live out his childhood. MM: About a year or so later, Link is looking for a long-lost friend. As he’s traveling through the Lost Woods, he is attacked by Skull Kid, who takes his horse, Epona, and the Ocarina of Time. He stumbles through a hole in a tree trunk and ends up in Termina, a seemingly parallel world to Hyrule. Link begins his three-day quest to get the Ocarina back from Skull Kid, and later has to move back through time to save Termina from the falling moon. He awakens the four giants, who are able to hold off the moon long enough for Link to go to the moon, confront Skull Kid, and ultimately a showdown with Majora’s Mask itself. He defeats the evil mask, and saves Termina. TMC: I just put this here for no reason whatsoever yet. A new Link is born years after MM. The evil sorcerer Vaati takes the Piccori Blade and shatters it. Link finds the Minish Cap and meets the Minish people throughout his journey, gathering kinstones and the four elements of Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. He defeats Vaati and manages to seal him away in the Piccori Blade, now the Four Sword. Alternate Future Before I get into WW, you may be wondering, why an alternate future? Because I’ve heard talk about it and have read about it, and I agree with it, and it makes sense to me. In the introduction to TWW, it is stated that the people waited for the Hero of Time to appear, but he didn’t. He, in my opinion, didn’t appear because Zelda sent him back in time. Now, because of this, Link in TWW isn’t likely to be related to Hero of Time Link, and is just coincidently called so. In the alternate future of OoT (in which Ganondorf takes over Hyrule), Link should most likely become well known for his bravery. Therefore, in TWW, he is still well known and the tradition of boys wearing green at 10 occurs, on Outset Island. In the OoT past (by which I set the rest of the games off of), the events of Link having to do with Ganondorf’s imprisonment do not occur, and so he is not a hero in Hyrule’s eyes, so no tradition happens by the time of ALttP. Now, I know at the end of WW, Link and Zelda are to find a new Hyrule to call home. Many think of the ALttP map to be this new Hyrule. I do not. The map looks more like OoT’s map, and for my theory on that, click here. So, that’s why I believe TWW comes in a sort of alternate timeline. You can be thinking “ridiculous,” but hey, it’s a video game. TWW: So, back on track. Ganondorf escapes from the Sacred Realm but the Hero of Time does not come to help. The people pray to the Goddesses for help, who flood Hyrule. Years later, Ganondorf escapes this. Link’s sister, Aryll, is kidnapped by a giant bird, the Helmaroc King. He realizes that Ganondorf is behind all of this and goes on a quest to save his sister. He meets Tetra and her band of pirates. With the aid of the King of Red Lions, he sails the seas of Hyrule, from island to island, searching for dungeons and how to get his sister back. He finds out that Tetra is none other than Zelda, which was why Ganondorf was kidnapping “pointy-eared girls.” He comes face-to-face with Ganondorf, and with Zelda’s help defeats him, and they are to find another Hyrule. Twilight Princess: It’s pretty much known that this is a sequel to TWW. It could be years, or months. Maybe centuries later, but it’s probably likely to take place in this new Hyrule that Link and Zelda found. Regular Future ALttP: Centuries later after OoT, Agahnim the wizard comes to Hyrule as a hero. He kidnaps seven maidens, including Princess Zelda, descendants of the original Seven Sages, in order to break the seal on the Sacred Realm and free Ganon. Zelda telepathically calls to the new hero, Link. Link rescues Zelda and proceeds to get the three pendants of virtue and obtain the Master Sword from the Lost Woods. He finds that Zelda has been taken to Agahnim, and he isn’t able to save her in time. After defeating Agahnim, he is teleported to the Dark World, where he rescues the seven maidens, and enters Ganon’s Tower, defeating Agahnim a second time, and fighting Ganon at the Pyramid of Power. He kills Ganon with the Silver Arrows, and becomes the new holder of the Triforce. No doubt Link shed blood in the battle, and Ganon might’ve been revived with it, and was able to escape into Hyrule before the portal closed. The Dark World vanishes. LA: Of course, no one is sure where this goes, as it could possibly go anywhere, but it seems nice here. After fulfilling the prophecy of the Legendary Hero, Link leaves Hyrule, but is caught in a storm and stranded on the mysterious Koholint Island. He learns that he can only leave the island by awaking the Wind Fish. He travels all over the island, retrieving the Sirens’ Musical, and also learning that Koholint Island seems to be nothing but a dream made by the Wind Fish. After getting all the instruments, he fights the Nightmares in the Wind Fish’s Egg. Link defeats them and wakes the Wind Fish, which finally awakens him. He is unsure of whether it was a dream or not, but will always remember it. FS: Many years later, a new Link and Zelda are born. Zelda tells Link of the Four Sword and how the evil wind mage Vaati was locked inside it thanks to a hero who used the sword to split into four and defeat the wind mage. Suddenly, the sword breaks and Vaati escapes, and kidnaps Zelda. Link takes up the Four Sword and uses it to split himself into four separate heroes. With the help of his counterparts, Link defeats Vaati and rescues Zelda. FSA: Sometime later, Vaati breaks out again. Link sets out again to defeat Vaati. He realizes that Ganon has been behind everything the whole time. Ganon gets a hold of the trident, probably the one he may use in LoZ. LoZ: A century or so later, Ganon regains his strength and attacks the castle, and steals the Triforce of Power. At this time the Triforce of Courage has been hidden away. Princess Zelda takes the Triforce of Wisdom and shatters it into eight pieces. Link comes and recovers the eight fragments and uses the Triforce of Wisdom to enter Ganon’s Lair in Spectacle Rock on Death Mountain and confronts him. He defeats him and obtains the Triforce of Power and rescues Zelda. AoL: Link approaches his sixteenth birthday and notices the mark of the Triforce on the back of his left hand. Impa takes him to the North Castle where he sees and ancient Princess Zelda in a deep slumber (not the Zelda from LoZ, just an ancient Zelda as the instruction manual says. I think it might be Zelda from OoT or ALttP.). Impa proceeds to tell him of how she was put to sleep by an evil sorcerer for not telling what she knew of the Triforce. To awaken her, Link goes to the six palaces of Hyrule and defeats the guardians. He undoes the binding spell on the Now, you may have seen me once say that I put the Oracles after AoL. Well, I am doing it that way because with the way I set up my timeline it works for me. Most people tend to put them before AoL, but I like putting them at the end because in my opinion, the ending of the Oracle series seems cool for the ending of the series. Frankly, the Oracles really could go before AoL or after it anyway, depending on how one really wants to look at it. OoS: Many years after AoL, a new Link is born. The Triforce has been united in Hyrule Castle once again, and summons Link to the land of Holodrum. There, he meets a dancer named Din. She is kidnapped by the General of Darkness, Onox, and learns that Din is not just a dancer, but also the Oracle of Seasons who controls the seasons of Holodrum. With Din’s power, Onox destroys nature itself in Holodrum, and the Temple of Seasons sinks below the earth. Link begins a quest to find the eight Essences of Nature, while going back and forth between Holodrum and the land of Subrosia to get new powers for the Rod of Seasons. He fights Onox in his human form and his dragon from, but saves Din nonetheless. But, he realizes that Onox was merely a pawn in a more dangerous plot by the evil witches Koume and Kotake, Twinrova. OoA: Thanks to Onox, the Flame of Destruction has been lit. Link is summoned this time to the land of Labrynna, where he witnesses Veran, the Sorceress of Shadows, posses the Oracle of Ages, Nayru, and use her power to travel back in time to prey on the sorrows of the people to affect the present. Link moves back and forth through time with the Harp of Ages to collect the eight Essences of Time to stop Veran and save Nayru. During his adventure, he comes across Princess Zelda, who has come to Labrynna. Link saves Nayru, but the sorrows of the people of Labrynna have lit the Flame of Sorrow for Twinrova. In a final attempt to ease the people, Zelda gives the people hope, but Twinrova captures her, wiping away all hope the people had left and lighting the Flame of Despair. They plan to sacrifice Zelda to revive the Evil King Ganon. Link stops them, and they sacrifice themselves, reviving Ganon as a mindless, raging monster. With great courage, Link destroys Ganon and saves Zelda, and Labrynna. |

My Timeline Theory
Games follow in this order.....after all that "goddess" crap. Its very undetailed, but has a rough indication of my thoughts.
Ocarina of Time - Young Link is Frozen in Time Ocarina of Time - Imprisoning War Fought Majora's Mask - Parallel Battle Fought [[ Questionable Gap Here - Picori Gave the Humans a Blade and a Shining Force in order to cast down a darkness ]] The Minish Cap - Four Sword forged from Picori Blade and Elements Four Swords - Vaati Breaks Free from the Blade, reimprisoned later on The Wind Waker - Ganon Breaks Free from the Sacred Realm, Hyrule is flooded, Link saves his sister, Tetra becomes Zelda, Link and Zelda defeat Ganon. Twilight Princess - Wait and see... Ganondorf Returns [[ - Gap Here, Master Sword moved from below ocean to Forest - ]] A Link to the Past - Ganon is defeated inside the Sacred Realm Four Swords Adventures - Vaati Returns, Same with Ganon. Defeated. Legend of Zelda - Once again Ganon defeated. This time, for good. Adventure of Link - Followers of Ganon try to revive him. Link's Awakening - Link is shipwrecked in AoL. The Koholint Island adventure helps ready him for the end of his adventure, which explains why Ganon was the last Shadow in the Egg. Adventure of Link - Ganon isn't revived. Oracle of Seasons - that stuff Oracle of Ages - yeh.... (excluding the link games together thing) |

Re: Timeline
My theory is:
OoT The first one, the prequel to all the others. Time is rewound for Link to live out his lost seven years. MM That one's self explanitory, silly! OoA/OoS Link is riding a horse in the beginning (looks a lot alike Epona, and he looks like the HoT, and Malon and Talon are in it.) LA On the box, it says "Link, the hero of the N64 classic, Ocarina of Time". This may or may not be something to take seriously? But why did Link get a nosejob and lose his stockings? Eh, I don't know. TWW Ganondorf breaks out, and is sealed in Hyrule. Alttp Hyrule is drained, the oceans have worn away many things, and created new ones. LoZ AoL
