left handed link

Does anyone realize that link is left handed. I figured this out by which hand was holding the sword in the link to the past.

UHHHH..... i think we all know that link is left handed, srry if i was rude, i was just telling some truth, anyways, he might be left handed because people that weild a triforce power, it shows up on their left hand 0___0

I know during medievil times left-handed swordsmen were considered more dangerous due to the construction of towers. The way they were built was so that when some one attacking was heading up the stairs they would have trouble swinging a sword. However a left-handed swordsman had no such problem as they use the opposite side. Perhaps they decided to make Link left-handed because of this olde fact.

I find that very reasonable. I go along with that theory.

I think Miyamoto is left handed.

Also they could be seen as great asassians. They'd only check the left side of the men, becasue you would pull it out with your right hand. They'd check, the sword would be on the opposite side, which they didn't check. Guy gets a private meeting with the king. Bye bye unarmed king.

If you ddn't realize, all major characters(zelda, ganondorf,) are left-handed.

Actually, I think Zelda and Ganondorf are right-handed. But yes, I've known for a long time that Link is left-handed.

Although Link is left-handed,I have a poster showing him as a right-handed swordsman.But he was drawn that way for the sake of the poster.

He's left handed, except when he faces to the right in a 2D game. Then he becomes right handed.

No, he's right handed. I read in an interview on Nintendo.com that said that though he sometimes holds his sword in his left hand, he is indeed right handed. He apparently is ambidextrous.

I always switch the sword in OoA so he is right handed.
It is easy for me using the A-button for the sword.

Actually, I didn't realize this by playing the games. Or rather, I didn't think about it.
Didn't realize until my friend (also an big Zelda-fan) told me about it. And I've read cartoons where they make fun of this. But he hasn't been left handed in all game has he?
Not in the old 2D adventures at least.
As, I didn't think he was in "Windwaker". But the main character in that game, he was something like Links grand grand grand grandchild...I might be wrong. Just ignore me.
