My Zelda Timeline

There are 2 timelines. The fact that there are 2 timelines has been confirmed by Nintendo. I kept out Link's Awakening, Oracle, and Four Swords. Those are not exactly relevant to the main timeline, you could put them pretty much anywhere, and I ran out of characters. Just for the record, Oracle had to happen in timeline 1, since Twinrova is dead in number 2 (that had the funniest death scene in almost any video game). Four Swords I am unsure of where to place, as they have absolutely no place in the main story line, but they go in the order of Minish Cap, Four Swords, and Four Swords Adventures. Link's Awakening could happen almost anywhere in either timeline. The CD-i games were not licensed by Nintendo, and have no place in the storyline.

The main reason I think this makes sense is that it solves the problem of Ganon having the full triforce in LttP.

Ocarina of Time-Ganon learns of the Triforce, and of how to get to it. He causes problems for the Gorons and the Zora to try to bully them into giving him what he needs, while poisoning the Great Deku Tree. The Deku Tree sends a fairy named Navi to summon Link. Link and Navi go inside the Deku tree and defeat the monsters inside. Before the Tree dies, he gives Link one of a set of 3 stones and tells Link to retrieve the other two. Link does so by helping the Gorons and the Zora fix what Ganon did to them. Link travels to the Temple of Time to place the 3 stones where they belong, and sees Zelda and Impa fleeing from Hyrule Castle. Ganon gives chase to them. Zelda throws Link the Ocarina of Time, which Link uses along with the 3 stones to open the Door of Time and claim the Master Sword. This unlocks the portal to the Sacred Realm; Ganon runs into the Sacred Realm and tries to claim the Triforce, which splits into 3 pieces, the Triforce of Power going to Ganon, Wisdom going to Zelda, and Courage going to Link. Link exits the Sacred Realm seven years later, and is tasked with awakening the 6 Sages. The first one is already awakened, and gives Link this task. After awakening the six sages, Link goes to fight Ganon. Link defeats Ganon in an epic battle, and Ganon is sealed in the Sacred Realm. Zelda sends Link back to his own time, this causes two separate timelines. How did Ganon get trapped in both? Simple. Zelda sends Link to a time AFTER he first pulls out the sword. Therefore Ganon is trapped in the Sacred Realm. This happens BEFORE Ganon claims the Triforce. In the other timeline Ganon is sealed in the Sacred Realm and Link is known as the Hero of Time.

Timeline 1, where Link is sent back and still exists, he is now young.

Majora's Mask-Ganon is trapped in the Sacred Realm, while Link is in Termina Ganon claims the Triforce. The Triforce was SUPPOSED to break into 3 pieces and go to Link, Zelda, and Ganon. However, Link is in Termina, transported there by the Skull Kid while searching for Navi. Because the Triforce was left by the goddesses when they created HYRULE Link cannot get the Triforce of Courage. Therefore Ganon gets to keep the full Triforce. Ganon goes to leave the Sacred Realm, but finds that he cannot get out due to the fact that the Master Sword is in the pedestal, locking the way out. While this is happening, Link saves Termina from Majora’s Mask. Link returns from Termina, does not get the Triforce of Courage now, and continues looking for Navi.

Link to the Past-Ganon is still in the Sacred, now Dark, World. The wizard (I will refer to the Argrehim guy this way, cannot spell his name) is possessed/created/projected/some other thing by Ganon and takes over the Palace. Link saves Zelda and is tasked with retrieving the Master Sword. The reason for this is because the events of OoT happened a looooong time ago, and no one knows the consequences of taking it. When Link takes the Master Sword, it frees Ganon. Ganon, knowing that the Master Sword can defeat him, hides in the wizard. When Link defeats the wizard, Ganon flees. Link kills Ganon, claims the Triforce, and fixes what is wrong in Hyrule. He also puts the Master Sword back.

End of Timeline 1

Timeline 2-Link is known as the Hero of Time, this is the timeline that continues after Zelda sends Link back, but it is in the future world of OoT. Ganon only has the Triforce of Power, Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Courage has been broken, it is likely that Zelda shattered it to keep it safe in the future.

Twilight Princess-Whatever happens in here...

Wind Waker-Generations pass, there is a King in Hyrule and a young princess named Zelda (family name I suppose). Ganon manages to escape from being sealed in the Sacred/Dark realm, although much of his power is still locked away because the "key"/Master Sword was placed back in the pedestal, and he leads an attack on Hyrule. The people of Hyrule appeal to the Goddesses after the Hero of Time fails to appear. Hyrule is flooded; Ganon is trapped under the ocean in his tower, with everything else being frozen in time. The King makes plans to stop Ganon when he returns, and takes half of the Triforce of Wisdom to protect it from Ganon while giving the other half to his daughter. His daughter loses her memory and becomes Tetra. The King transforms himself into a boat when the new Link comes. Link takes the Master Sword, releasing the rest of Ganon's power. Link restores the Master Sword, gets the Triforce of Courage, and goes to Hyrule to fight Ganon. Link defeats Ganon and the Master Sword is left in Ganon's forehead. When the King made his wishes, the Triforce broke into the 3 pieces and flew off in different directions.

Legend of Zelda-After a long while Ganon is revived and again goes to take over the world. By now the Triforce is still in 3 pieces, and each piece has been hidden away to prevent evil from getting to it. Ganon retrieves the Triforce of Power and goes after Zelda, who has the Triforce of Wisdom. Zelda breaks her piece of the Triforce into 8 pieces. Link helps Impa, retrieves the Triforce of Wisdom, and defeats Ganon. Ganon dies and Link claims the Triforce of Power and saves Zelda. Ganon never got a chance to go after the third piece of the Triforce.

Adventure of Link-Zelda is put into a deep sleep and Link needs the full Triforce to revive her. He goes to the different palaces and unlocks the gate to the Great Palace. He is attacked many times by Ganon's followers from when Ganon was alive. They seek to revive Ganon, but they need the blood of the one that killed him to complete the spell. Dark Link is defeated in the end, he probably survived in OoT and has been serving Ganon ever since. Link claims the Triforce of Courage and uses the power of the Triforce to wake Zelda.

Dude I dont approve of this timeline just for the fact that i know that The link to the past is one of the possible last games in the storyline of zelda

There are two seperate timelines, so LttP is the last game in timeline 1.

Ganon cannot enter the sacred realm while the master sword is in the pedestal. You say he couldn't get out because of it, but he could only get in after the master sword was pulled from the pedestal by link. This opened the sacred realm and let Ganon in. BUT, link never pulled the master sword while he was in Termina, which means ganon couldn't have gotten the triforce, which means that you theory is incorrect.

I think there is only one timeline!!! nintendo may have said that, but what was your source???

Oricals:Ages and Sesons May be after LTTP and before Minish Cap. The 3 oricals are in Minish Cap. Fuse this timeline with 4 Sword.

Twilight Princess: Unique Timeline. If known otherwise, then fuse with the time line that it goes to.

Look, this has been done so many times that its getting really quite old. Nobody can really confirm that their theory is the right one, because nobody but Myamoto knows actually. Although yours makes some sense, it cant be confirmed that its right.
