Re: What does a Zelda game need?
A game like Zelda should need atleast the following:
Good graphics I don't only mean the real clearness of the people in the game, also the what I like to call "WOW effect". That when you see a great building, they make it detailed and stuff which make you say: "Wow, that's a great building". It makes you show that the producer has really put effort in every inch of the game. Great music A good game needs good fitting music, not only beautiful music, music that makes you say at for example the final battle: "Oh yea, I'm gonna beat this guy". You shouldn't get to hear you're typical overworld song at the Final Battle. A storyline To me, this is essantial, a game without a storyline is nothing to me.A gaame should have a long, fun, twisty storyline. The more suprises, the better. Don't overdo it though. Don't make it a soap series. Some sort of Subquest A game needs something to relax, to do something except the main story. Not extremely, like a portal before a boss to a park in a big city. Something like:"Whew, I just beat this hard dungeon, let's walk around town, see if there's something to do". This "subbquesting" should be fun. Replay Value This is pretty closely related to fun and subquesting. The Replay Value is depending on two things:for one, if you complete the game, how many extra fun things you've missed. Like, Pieces of heart. For Two, When you complete a game and like it, you can play it another time. This could help if there was for example a Hard Mode in it. |

Re: What does a Zelda game need?
Thanks, by the way do you have any music that you could give me for the game?
And, I use the RPG maker, do you have any chipsets? Thanks.

Re: What does a Zelda game need?
It indeed needs cool enemies, great places, funny characters, good storyline and perfect controlls. Graphic doesn't matter if it's a great Zelda game. Very good music makes the good even better.
